Thammasat University and Bangkok Bank’s TU Biz Lab project offers summer internships for students to learn from real business challenges.

On July 8, 2026, Thammasat University and Bangkok Bank hosted a ‘TU Biz Lab’ Pitching Project event at the Rangsit Center for the course TU287: Learning Through Practice 3. Six student groups presented community-focused business plans and marketing strategies developed under the guidance of Bangkok Bank mentors and experts.


Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dumrong Adulyaritkul, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Orapan Yolrabil, Vice Rector for Strategic Collaboration and Business Value Creation, Thammasat, and Ms. Pochanee Kongkalai, Executive Vice President of Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited attended the event to listen to the presentations of the students’ work. Reflecting continuous project learning, six teams analyzed fieldwork data to develop branding, marketing, and business strategies that enhance community products, increasing value and sustainable competitiveness.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dumrong noted that TU Biz Lab reflects the university’s hands-on learning approach. He praised students for creating value for enterprises and communities, and thanked Bangkok Bank for its collaboration in achieving tangible results.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Orapan mentioned that in addition to developing community products, students also learn teamwork, analytical thinking, and how to cope with challenges from real situations, which are essential skills for future employment.

While Ms. Pochanee stated that this project aims to create a learning experience based on the concept of Learning Through Practice, enabling students to step out of the classroom, develop their thinking skills, and prepare for real work. She also reaffirmed Bangkok Bank’s commitment to supporting the TU Biz Lab project in the upcoming iterations.

On June 30, 2026, the executive team of Thammasat University, led by Prof. Dr. Supasawad Chardchawarn, TU Rector, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kittiwat Chanchaemsai, the Vice Rector for Administration of the Lampang Center and Student Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Oraphan, participated in a knowledge exchange activity at Bangkok Bank’s headquarters in Silom to prepare for their upcoming presentation. The President stated that TU Biz Lab is another important mechanism that helps students practice systematic thinking, learn from real situations, and prepare themselves before entering the workforce.


The TU Biz Lab project is a joint summer internship by Thammasat University and Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited. It enables students to learn from real business challenges, collaborating with experts and communities to develop socially beneficial business plans and marketing strategies while preparing them for future employment.
