Thammasat researchers invented innovations-inventions for society, winning 25 world-class awards.

 

Team of researchers and inventors from Thammasat University won 25 prizes from the 48th Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions.

     A team of researchers from Thammasat University created research work and innovations that are beneficial to society in order to meet the development needs of the country. As a result, Thammasat University is world famous and is able to win prizes in "The 48th International Exhibition of Inventions" in Geneva, Swiss Confederation which is supported by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT).

     This year, Thammasat University received a total of 25 awards, including 1 honorary gold medal, 2 gold medals, 6 silver medals, 7 bronze medals and 9 special awards, consisting of:

️ Honorary Gold Medal, Gold Medal Award with the Congratulations of the Jury

     1. Invention: Smart sensor to measure blood glucose levels (MyA1c)

     by Prof. Dr. Kesara Na Bangchang, Chulabhorn International College of Medicine (Head of the research team), and the research team (Prof. Dr. Chirawut Phetyen, Asst. Prof. Dr. Benjamaporn Tangnorawit and Khanittha Polsanti from the Faculty of Science and Technology)

     1. Project Title: Solar Low-Cost Real-Time Automatic Louver

     by Asst. Prof. Pruethiporn Lopkerd, Faculty of Architecture and Planning (Head of the research team) and the research team (Assoc. Prof. Srisak Pattanawasin from the Faculty of Architecture and Planning) and received a special award from the On-Stage event, namely the Industrial Design Prize from Pour la Suisse Romande de L'Association, Switzerland)

     2. Project Title: VP Shunt Entry Area Recommender (VPSEAR): A Computer-Assisted System for VP Shunt Operation

     3. Project Title: P W3ll by Coffee Slender

     4. Project Title: Super Kale

     by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dusit Athinuwat from the Faculty of Science and Technology (Head of the research team) and the research team (Ms. Romnalin Chanthawong, Mr. Apisit Ninmat and Mr. Krittidet Anan) and received a special prize from the Research Institute of Creative Education, Vietnam

     5. Project Title: Shield Plus Nanofiber Shield Plus
