Thammasat Students initiated researches and innovations, receiving awards from the National Research Expo 2022

Thammasat Students show their potential in initiating researches and innovations, receiving awards from the National Research Expo of the year 2022.

     Thammasat University students received awards from Thailand Research Expo 2022 held between 2 to 5 August 2022 at Centara Grand Hotel and Bangkok Convention Center, Central World, Bangkok, organized by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation under the concept of "Research for National Development towards stability, prosperity and sustainability.” There are a total of 155 entries in the contest in which the award comprises of 1. Project proposal writing award, 2. Higher education innovation award and 3. Medals according to the scoring criteria of each project, which consisting of 5 subject groups: Agriculture and Agro-Industry Group, Public Health, Health and Medical Technology Group, Artificial Intelligence Technology Development Group, Energy, Environment, and BCG Economy Model Group and, Quality of Life and Creative Economy Development Group.

     Assoc. Prof. Gasinee Witoonchart, Rector of Thammasat University revealed that Thammasat University has recognized the importance of encouraging Thammasat students to initiate research and innovation to serve society and the world community according to the vision of the university, “World Class University for the People”.

     This year, Thammasat University students from various faculties received awards from Thailand Research Expo 2022 in the category of project proposal writing award, 4 awards and higher education innovation award, 5 awards as follows:

     Higher education innovation proposal writing award of the year 2022

     1. Agriculture and Agro-Industry Group (Undergraduate Level)

   1.1 Title: “Durian pollination solution” received an Excellence Award

   1.2 Title: “3P, granulated cow manure mixed with beneficial microorganisms” received an Outstanding Award

   Thammasat University as a university for the people with its aim to promote research and innovation, there are 15 projects that have been awarded medals according to the scoring criteria as follows:
