Bangladeshi Ambassador visited Thammasat University

          On 17 September 2019 - Bangladeshi Ambassador visited Thammasat, greeted by Rector Gasinee Witoonchart. The Ambassador proposed to promote Bangladeshi enrollment at Thammasat in the fields of business and engineering in particular at the undergraduate level, viewing that Thammasat can offer good quality and affordable education. Vice Rector Kitti, Dean Thira of Engineering and Asst. Prof. Dr. Duangmanee from Economics also joined the conversation.

 

SHOM visited Thammasat University Taprachan

          On 13 September 2019 - Rector Gasinee Witoonchart greeted SHOM (Spouses of Head of Missions) at Taprachan. 13 of them, who are spouses of Ambassadors, exchanged opinions with the Rector and Vice Rector for International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitti Prasirtsuk, as well as listened to a talk by Dr. Puli Fuwongcharoen, Associate Dean for Administration, the Faculty of Political Science, on the history of Thammasat. The group went on a campus tour, also joined by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pavida Pananond of Thammasat Business School. The group is very keen to learn about Thammasat and Thai political developments.

The Rector of Hosei University visited Thammasat University

          On 30 September 2019 - Prof. Yuko Tanaka, President and executives from Hosei University, Japan visited Thammasat, greeted by Rector Gasinee Witoonchart. The propose of this visit is to promote Hosei University to Thammasat students and both sides discussed the possibility of collaboration between Thammasat University and Hosei University at the faculty level.  Assistant to the Rector, Asst. Prof. Dr. Supranee Lisawadi and executives from the Faculty of Political Science, Liberal Arts and Pridi Banomyong International College also joined the meeting.
