THAMMASAT GLOBAL CONNECTIONS 2019 – September NO.1

 

Update: Thammasat University welcomed Ambassador of the Russian Federation and discussed an academic collaboration with four universities partners.

H.E. Mr. Evgeny TOMIKHIN, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Thailand, visited to Thammasat University.

          21 August 2019 - H.E. Mr. Evgeny TOMIKHIN, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Thailand visited to Thammasat University. Greeted by the Rector, Assoc. Prof. Gasinee Witoonchart, along with Vice Rector for International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitti Prasirtsuk, Asst. Prof. Dr. Passapong Sripicharn, Dean of Faculty of Liberal Arts and lecturers from Russian Studies and Asst. Prof. Dr. Suphat Suphachalasai, Director, Thammasat Institute of Area Studies (TIARA). Both sides discussed academic collaboration between Russia and Thailand, including joint forum and an invitation to the Rector to visit universities in Russia.

 

Vice President of Oita University visited Thammasat

          26 August 2019 - Vice Rector for International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitti Prasirtsuk, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Adchara Panthanuwong, Dean and faculty members from the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication, met with Professor Dr. Norio Shimoda, Vice President and executives from Oita University, Japan. Both sides discussed about MOU between the two institutes and short and summer program.

 

Prof. Yasuko SASAKI, Trustee and Vice President of Ochanomizu University, visited to Thammasat University.

          23 August 2019 - Vice Rector for International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitti Prasirtsuk, along with Mrs. Usacharat Vejpongsa, Director of Office of International Affairs, met with Prof. Yasuko SASAKI, Trustee and Vice President and executives from Ochanomizu University, Japan. Both sides discussed promoting exchange students and mutually publicizing short programs to students of both universities.

 

Executives from National Taipei University of Technology visited to Thammasat University.

           21 August 2019 - Vice Rector for International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitti Prasirtsuk, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Passapong Sripicharn (Dean of Faculty of Liberal Arts), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kaewkwan Tangtipongkul (Deputy Director of Institute for Continuing Education and Human Recourses), and Dr. Sarunwit Promsaka Na Sakonnakorn (Associate Dean for Organizational Communication and International Affairs, the Faculty of Learning Sciences and Education),  met with Prof. Jen-Chia Chang (Chairperson, Technological and Vocational Education Department), executives and professors from National Taipei University of Technology, Taipei. Both sides discussed short-term internship and short program in languages, particularly between Taipei Tech and the Faculty of Liberal Arts.

Prof. Dr. GUO Shuyong, Dean of school of International Relations and public Affairs, Shanghai International Studies University, visited to Thammasat University.

          16 August 2019 - Vice Rector for International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitti Prasirtsuk, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Passapong Sripicharn, Dean of Faculty of Liberal Arts and lecturers from faculty of Liberal Arts and Pridi Banomyong International College, met with Prof. Dr. GUO Shuyong, Dean of school of International Relations and Public Affairs and executives from School of Asian and African Studies, Shanghai International Studies University and Ministry of Foreign Affair, China. They discussed about student forum, publicized SISU graduate programs and also invited Thammasat professors to send articles to publicize on SISU journals.
