Update: Thammasat University has discussed an academic collaboration with University of South Alabama, USA.

Thammasat and the University of South Alabama explore link-ups

     The Vice Rector for Administration (Tha Prachan) and International Affairs, along with the Dean and staff of the Thammasat Business School, welcomed the Director of Global Outreach at the University of South Alabama, USA, during a visit to Thammasat (Tha Prachan) on 10 November 2022.

     The two parties discussed the possibility of enhancing academic collaboration between Thammasat and the University of South Alabama at the faculty level with the Thammasat Business School, particularly joint and dual degrees, and student and staff exchanges.

     During the meeting, the Thammasat side highlighted the summer school program offered by the Thammasat Business School.

      เมื่อวันที่ 10 พฤศจิกายน 2565 มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ นำโดย รศ.ดร.สุรัตน์ ทีรฆาภิบาล รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหารท่าพระจันทร์และวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมด้วย รศ.ดร.ปีเตอร์ รักธรรม คณะพาณิชยศาสตร์และการบัญชี และเจ้าหน้าที่ให้การต้อนรับ Director of Global Outreach, University of South Alabama สหรัฐอเมริกา ในการเยือนธรรมศาสตร์

     University of South Alabama มีความประสงค์หารือเพื่อสร้างความร่วมมือทางวิชาการกับธรรมศาสตร์ โดยเฉพาะกับพาณิชยศาสตร์และการบัญชี (ระดับคณะ) ด้านหลักสูตร Joint Degree หรือ Dual Degree โดยเฉพาะ Student Exchange หรือ Staff Exchange นอกจากนี้ ทางคณะพาณิชยศาสตร์และการบัญชี ยังเสนอการทำ Summer School ร่วมกันอีกด้วย

President of Soka University visits Thammasat Rangsit

     On 9 November 2022, Prof. Masashi Suzuki, President of Soka University, was greeted by Assistant to the Rector for International Affairs, Dr. Siripatra Patchanee, during a visit to the Thammasat Rangsit campus.

     During the meeting, Soka University cordially invited Thammasat University to participate in the Joint Seminar 2023 in Japan, to be co-hosted by the Faculties of Law and Economics. An invitation was also extended to join the ASAIHL conference as a member in Japan to be held in June 2023.

     For its part, Thammasat sought support from Soka University to publicize widely its short, tailor-made academic programs for Soka and Japanese students to study at Thammasat University as well as courses in Thai culture.

     Also representing Soka University were Mr. Banno Kazuhiko from Soka Gakkai Thailand and Ms. Emiko Takasuna, Director of the Thammasat University - Soka University Liaison Office.

     Prof. Masashi Suzuki, President of Soka University ประเทศญี่ปุ่น เยือนมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ รังสิต ในวาระการเข้ารับตำแหน่งใหม่ เมื่อวันที่ 9 พฤศจิกายน 2565 ให้การต้อนรับโดย อาจารย์ ทันตแพทย์หญิง สิริภัทรา พัชนี ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์

     ในโอกาสนี้ Soka University เชิญธรรมศาสตร์เข้าร่วมงาน Joint Seminar 2023 ณ ญี่ปุ่น โดยความร่วมมือหลายภาคส่วน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นคณะนิติศาสตร์ คณะเศรษฐศาสตร์ และการประชุมเครือข่าย ASAIHL conference ในปี 2566 ซึ่งฝ่าย Soka เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงาน ซึ่งมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์เข้าร่วมในฐานะสมาชิกเครือข่าย

     นอกจากนี้ ฝ่ายธรรมศาสตร์ ขออนุเคราะห์ให้ทาง Soka ประชาสัมพันธ์ tailor-made short program ไปยังนักศึกษา เพื่อเพิ่มโอกาสความร่วมมือด้านการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาและศึกษาเรียนรู้วัฒนธรรมไทย ในระหว่างศึกษา ทั้งนี้ รายละเอียดโปรกรม รายวิชา หรือช่วงเวลาเรียน สามารถปรับเปลี่ยนได้ตามความเหมาะสมกับนักศึกษาของ Soka

     ในการนี้ Mr. Banno Kazuhiko, Soka Gakkai Thailand และ Ms. Emiko Takasuna Director Thammasat University - Soka University Liaison Office ร่วมหารือในครั้งนี้ด้วย

President of Meiji University visits Thammasat Rangsit

     President Prof. Kosaku DAIROKUNO and executives from the Graduate School of Meiji University, Japan, were greeted and welcomed to the Thammasat University Rangsit campus by the Vice Rector for Administration (Tha Prachan) and International Affairs on 2 November 2022.

     The visit focused on extending the collaboration between the universities and scholarship opportunities from Meiji for Thammasat students under a current exchange program.

     During the meeting, Thammasat highlighted its Chair Professorship supported by the Bualuang Fund and the Thammasat Postdoctoral Fellowship. Also raised during the meeting were the Thammasat Summer School program for 2023 and short-term courses in Business Opportunities, and Innovations and Entrepreneurial Mindset.

Meiji University เยือนมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์

     Prof. Kosaku DAIROKUNO, President of Meiji University ประเทศญี่ปุ่น พร้อมด้วยคณาจารย์จาก Graduate School เยือนมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ โดยมี รศ.ดร.สุรัตน์ ทีรฆาภิบาล รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหารท่าพระจันทร์และวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ให้การต้อนรับและหารือการขยายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการในระดับมหาวิทยาลัย พร้อมหารือความเป็นไปได้ในการสนับสนุนทุนการศึกษาสำหรับนักศึกษาที่ไปแลกเปลี่ยนยัง Meiji University ในวันที่ 2 พฤศจิกายน 2565

     ระหว่างการหารือ ฝ่ายธรรมศาสตร์ประชาสัมพันธ์ทุนวิจัย Bualuang Chair Professorship และ Postdoctoral Fellowship รวมถึงโครงการ Summer Program ที่จะจัดขึ้นในเดือนกรกฎาคม 2566 ดำเนินการโดยกองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ เพื่อเปิดโอกาสสำหรับผู้ที่สนใจศึกษาด้าน Business opportunities และ Innovations and Entrepreneurial Mindset

MOU signed between Thammasat University and the University of York

     Thammasat University and the University of York (UK) have agreed to explore collaborative academic activities that will include student and faculty exchanges, internship programs, study trips and dual degrees. The agreement was formalized during an MOU signing ceremony at the Faculty of Social Administration on the Tha Prachan campus on 1 November 2022.

     Presiding over the ceremony was the Vice Rector for Administration (Tha Prachan) and International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surat Teerakapibal. Representing the University of York was Prof. John Hudson, Deputy Dean of the School for Business and Society. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Auschala Chalayonnavin, Dean of the Faculty of Social Administration, co-signed the agreement for Thammasat 

มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ร่วมมือทางวิชาการกับ University of York

     รศ.ดร.สุรัตน์ ทีรฆาภิบาล รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหารท่าพระจันทร์และวิเทศสัมพันธ์ เป็นประธานในพิธีลงนามความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ ระหว่างคณะสังคมสงเคราะห์ศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ โดย รศ.ดร.อัจฉรา ชลายนนาวิน คณบดีคณะสังคมสงเคราะห์ศาสตร์ กับ the School for Business and Society, University of York ประเทศอังกฤษ โดย Professor John Hudson, Deputy Dean เป็นผู้ลงนาม เมื่อวันที่ 1 พฤศจิกายน 2565 ทั้งนี้ ผู้บริหารและคณาจารย์เข้าร่วมพิธีลงนามในครั้งนี้ด้วย

     บันทึกข้อตกลงฉบับนี้ นับเป็นความร่วมมือครั้งสำคัญของทั้งสองหน่วยงาน ในด้านการแลกเปลี่ยนอาจารย์ นักศึกษา การฝึกงาน ศึกษาดูงาน รวมจึงการจัดทำหลักสูตรสองปริญญา
