The WHO FCTC Knowledge Hub for Article 5.3 (KH 5.3), in partnership with the Convention Secretariat (CS), hosted a workshop in Bangkok from November 18–22, 2024, aimed at addressing and countering tobacco industry interference. The event brought together over 50 participants from 30 countries. This workshop strengthened collaboration and networking among attendees, while also developing practical guidelines and tools to help countries safeguard public health policies from tobacco industry interference. Key outcomes of the meeting included the creation of actionable plan and resources to support countries in protecting their public health policies. These collective efforts have significantly advanced the implementation of Article 5.3 of the WHO FCTC, contributing to a positive and sustainable impact on global tobacco control efforts.
