Thammasat Launches TU ESG NEXT to Originate Sustainable Leaders

     TU ESG NEXT FOR SUSTAINABILITY LEADERSHIP PROGRAM aims to develop organizational leaders who can drive sustainable growth while considering society, the environment, governance, and long-term stakeholder trust.

     Professor Dr. Supasawad Chardchawarn, Rector of Thammasat University and the Chair of the Curriculum Advisory Board, stated that Thammasat University has historically been a strong institution in driving societal progress and democratic development. However, as the global social context has changed, Thammasat University has continuously adapted and modernized its various curricula. Thammasat prioritizes sustainable development, a core pillar. The university’s faculty of development studies provides environmental education, featuring new curricula in sustainable development. Collaborating with CSR Home Company Limited, led by Dr. Worawut Chaisorn, the Institute for Continuing Education and Human Resources now offers the TU ESG NEXT FOR SUSTAINABILITY LEADERSHIP training program, leveraging the university’s expertise.

     Prof. Dr. Theera Sindecharak, Director of the Institute for Continuing Education and Human Resources at Thammasat University, chairs a program designed to develop sustainability leaders. It targets executives from all sectors (government, state enterprises, and private) to enhance modern leadership skills. The curriculum broadens perspectives through real experiences shared by diverse executives, incorporating action learning and fostering leadership networks for impactful change, preparing organizations for a complex and rapidly evolving world.

     The TU ESG NEXT curriculum features university faculty and esteemed national experts, including Bangkok Governor Chatchart Sitthiphan, Dr. Soraphol Tulayasathien (SET), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kritsada Saketrakul (former SET), Mr. Pichai Chirathivat (Central Retail), Mr. Piriya Khempon (Banpu), Dr. Sirikul Laukaikul (Enough Project, Sustainable Brands Thailand), and Mr. Wachirachai Koonamwattana (SCG), sharing their expertise in sustainability.

     TU ESG NEXT FOR SUSTAINABILITY LEADERSHIP (for Senior Executives) I will be conducted from November 20, 2025, to March 18, 2026 (every Wednesday) from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Aswin Hotel, Vibhavadi Rangsit Road, Bangkok. The program is overseen and developed by senior executives of the university, including Professor Dr. Supasawad Chardchawarn, Professor Dr. Theera Sindecharak, Assoc. Prof. Chol Bunnag, Assistant to the Rector for Quality Development and Sustainability at Thammasat University and Director of the Research and Support Center for Sustainable Development Goals (SDG Move); along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Pakawadee Suphanjitpattana and Dr. Worawut Chaisorn as Program Directors.
