Thammasat and Sansiri Launch New Real Estate Investment Course – TU285

Thammasat University and Sansiri launched the “TU285” course to train “New Generation Real Estate Investors.” The course, focusing on wealth and sustainability, starts in January 2026 and features real-world learning from experts. A “Credit Bank” for future credit transfer is planned for high school students and the public.

Thammasat University (TU) Rector, Prof. Dr. Supasawad Chardchawarn, and Sansiri CEO, Mr. Uthai Uthaisangsuk, signed an MOU on November 27, 2025, to boost student financial literacy and real estate knowledge in partnership with private companies. This initiative supports TU’s goal of ensuring graduate employment. The collaboration, driven by Prof. Dr. Supasawad, will integrate these skills into the general education course TU285, “Next Gen Real Estate Investor: Building Wealth & Driving Sustainability.” The course covers personal finance, investment, debt management, and real estate investment/risk analysis, featuring insights from Sansiri experts. The real estate course covers loans, location analysis, business models, and sustainable development. Sansiri will offer practical workshops using real-world problems and site visits.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dumrong Adunyarittigun, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at Thammasat University, explained that the TU285 course was developed with Sansiri due to high student interest, especially among recent graduates, in real estate investment. The knowledge is intended for all students, not just business or finance majors. The course will forgo traditional exams, focusing instead on active learning through projects and real business problems to encourage practical application. Enrollment for the limited 200-student course starts in January 2026 (Second semester, academic year 2025). Students apply via the TU Great App, which has already seen significant interest, with nearly 100 registrations shortly after opening. He announced future talks with Sansiri to convert this into E-Learning for Thammasat’s online platform, making it accessible to the public. Thammasat is promoting a Credit Bank system where general studies courses can earn transferable credits for high school students or interested individuals. Courses enabling this are anticipated by the 2026 academic year.

Mr. Uthai stated that Sansiri believes education is a crucial foundation for driving the country towards stability and sustainability. Therefore, collaboration with Thammasat University represents a significant milestone in educational development, through cooperation between the business sector and educational institutions, which will jointly exchange resources and expertise to develop quality personnel for the continued advancement of the nation in the future.
