Thammasat and Cosmo Group Partner for Experiential Learning and Graduate Development

Professor Dr. Supasawad Chardchawarn, Rector of Thammasat University (TU), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Cosmo Group Public Company Limited, represented by Ms. Grace Mahadumrongkul, Company Director, to enhance cooperation in education, research, and the development of students through the cooperative education system. This initiative includes learning from real-world experiences to prepare students for actual work in the industry.

The event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Ramiha Pacharavanich, Vice Rector for Administration of the Pattaya Campus and Enterprise Relations, Asst. Prof. Dr. Adisorn Juntrasook, Dean of the Faculty of Learning Sciences and Education, along with faculty members from various departments and Mr. Kiatchai Thadawachira, Chief Executive Officer of Cosmo Group, on January 7, 2026, at Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus.

This collaboration aims to enhance students’ potential by equipping them with knowledge, skills, and competencies that align with real-world professional practices. It provides opportunities for students to gain experience through the Summer Internship Program and the Cooperative Education Program at the higher education level, as well as other collaborative activities, to prepare them for the labor market and to plan their career paths effectively and sustainably.

Prof. Dr. Supasawad emphasized that the collaboration aims to enhance education quality and student potential, aligning with workforce needs through private-public sector integration. He highlighted that partnering with a leading company like Cosmo provides a significant opportunity for experiential learning, preparing students for future employment through internships and real-world experience. Ms. Grace has pointed that while university learning is foundational, On-the-Job Training is crucial for nurturing a prepared, adaptable, and quality new generation workforce.

The collaboration will also involve joint development of academic and support personnel, knowledge and resource exchange, collaborative research for innovation, academic services to society, organizing conferences, and supporting the EEC. This partnership is a major step in providing students with practical skills and comprehensive potential development for future employment.
