FPHTU Hosts International Panel on Active Ageing under the Reinventing University Project
The Faculty of Public Health, Thammasat University, under the Reinventing University Project, hosted an international panel discussion on 28 January 2026 at the Pridi Banomyong Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Dome Administration Building Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus. The event brought together experts from Japan, South Korea, Thailand, the United States, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Australia, Singapore, and India to exchange insights and experiences on active ageing initiatives.
The program featured opening remarks by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreedee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Affairs, a welcome address by the Dean of the Faculty of Public Health, together with Deputy Dean for Graduate Studies and Research as well as Deputy Dean for Administration and International Affairs joining to welcome participants. The session included expert panel discussions, and the ACAP meeting, followed by a networking lunch.
During the campus tour, participants were introduced to the brief history of Thammasat University and explored the Puey Ungphakorn Centenary Park and Hall, highlighting the university’s commitment to sustainable development and innovative learning spaces.
The event served as a meaningful platform for international collaboration, knowledge sharing, and strengthening global partnerships on active ageing.
