British Embassy strengthens academic ties between Thammasat and UK universities.

     On 24 June,2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreedee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Affairs, along with the OIA Coordinator for Europe and Oceania, recently welcomed Ms. Nantamas Chatraporn and Ms. Pondwipa Suthiworasin from the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), British Embassy in Thailand, during a courtesy visit to the Office of International Affairs on Thammasat’s Tha Prachan campus.

     This meeting focused on enhancing academic collaboration between Thammasat and UK universities, particularly in areas such as Joint and Double Degree programs, Summer Exchanges, and Visiting Lecturer initiatives. The embassy representatives also extended an invitation for Thammasat to participate in the upcoming “Higher and Trade Mission” event, scheduled for November, 2025, designed to foster dialogue between UK universities and businesses and their Thai counterparts.

     During the discussion, the Vice Rector emphasized Thammasat’s commitment to equipping students with practical, outside-the-classroom skills through internship programs – especially in Social Sciences and Health Sciences – as part of the university’s broader educational policy. In response, the British delegation shared valuable insights into the UK’s offerings for international students, including Summer programs and Double Degree opportunities, aimed at encouraging academic exchange and mobility.

     รศ. ดร.สุปรีดี ฤทธิรงค์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมด้วยผู้ประสานงานภูมิภาคยุโรปและโอเชียเนียของกองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ให้การต้อนรับ คุณนันทมาศ ฉัตราภรณ์ พร้อมด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่ฝ่ายการค้า ด้านการศึกษาและสาธารณสุข สถานทูตอังกฤษประจำประเทศไทย ระหว่างการเข้าหารือ เมื่อวันที่ 24 มิถุนายน 2568 ณ กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์

     โดยการหารือให้ความสำคัญในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์และมหาวิทยาลัยในราชอาณาจักร โดยเฉพาะ Joint หรือ Double Degree programs, Summer Exchanges และ Visiting Lecturer เป็นต้น นอกจากนี้ เจ้าหน้าที่สถานทูตฯ ได้เชิญผู้แทนธรรมศาสตร์ เข้าร่วมงาน Higher and Trade Mission ซึ่งเป็นเวทีที่รวบรวมบริษัทและสถาบันการศึกษาจากสหราชอาณาจักรเพื่อพบปะหารือกับหน่วยงานในประเทศไทย โดยกิจกรรมครั้งถัดไปกำหนดจัดขึ้นในช่วงกลางเดือนพฤศจิกายน 2568 นี้

     ในระหว่างการหารือ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศฯ ได้เน้นย้ำนโยบายส่งเสริมการฝึกงาน (Internship) ของธรรมศาสตร์ ในลักษณะของโครงการภาคปฏิบัติ (Practical Program) เพื่อให้นักศึกษาได้ศึกษาเรียนรู้นอกเหนือจากในห้องเรียน โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งด้านสังคมศาสตร์และสุขศาสตร์ และฝ่ายสถานทูตฯ ได้ให้ข้อมูลที่สำคัญสำหรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติที่ประสงค์ศึกษาในสหราชอาณาจักร เช่น โครงการภาคฤดูร้อน และ Double Degree เพื่อเป็นการกระตุ้นให้เกิดการแลกเปลี่ยนและเพิ่มจำนวนนักศึกษาต่างชาติด้วย

Thammasat and Xi’an University host MOU Signing Ceremony.

     On 30 June 2025, Thammasat University, in collaboration with Xi’an University in China, held a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony at Xi’an University’s main campus in Xi’an City. The agreement was formally signed by Prof. Dr. Supasawad Chardchawarn, Rector of Thammasat University, and Prof. Chen Gang, President of Xi’an University.

     Following the signing, the two university leaders co-chaired a bilateral meeting to reaffirm their commitment to advancing academic collaboration. Representing Thammasat University in the discussions were the Vice Rector for International Affairs, the Dean, an Executive Board member, and senior representatives from the College of Interdisciplinary Studies.

     This inaugural ceremony marks the initial step toward fostering long-standing cooperation between the two universities and paves the way for new initiatives that will benefit students at both institutions. 

ธรรมศาสตร์ ลงนามความร่วมมือทางวิชาการกับ Xi’an University

     มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัยซีอาน เมืองซีอาน ประเทศจีน ลงนามความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ เมื่อวันที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2568 โดยมี ศ. ดร.ศุภสวัสดิ์ ชัชวาลย์ อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ และ Prof. Chen Gang อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยซีอาน เป็นผู้ลงนาม

     นอกจากนี้ อธิการบดีของสองมหาวิทยาลัย เป็นประธานร่วมในการประชุมหารือแนวทางพัฒนาความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ โดยผู้เข้าร่วมหารือจากฝ่ายธรรมศาสตร์ ได้แก่ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ คณบดี กรรมการบริหารวิทยาลัยสหวิทยาการ และคณาจารย์

     การจัดพิธีลงนามในครั้งนี้ นับเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นที่สำคัญในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระยะยาวระหว่างสองสถาบันและเป็นการวางรากฐานสำหรับการจัดกิจกรรมทางวิชาการในรูปแบบใหม่ที่เอื้อประโยชน์ต่อนักศึกษาของทั้งสองสถาบัน

Thammasat explores partnership with the Secretariat of the Senate of Thailand.

     On 25 June 2025, Thammasat University, welcomed a high-level delegation from the Secretariat of the Senate of Thailand to its Tha Prachan campus. The visit marked a promising step toward academic collaboration between the two institutions.

     Leading the Thammasat delegation were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreedee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Affairs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dumrong Adunyarittigun, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. M.L. Pinitbhand Paribatra, Vice Rector for Research and Innovation. They received Mr. Peerapoj Rattanamalee, Deputy Secretary-General of the Senate, along with bureau directors and senior officials.

     During the visit, the Secretariat of the Senate presented a range of potential partnership initiatives, including joint research projects, visiting lectureships, and knowledge exchange sessions. They also introduced their flagship “Morning Talk ” program, which brings together visiting executives and officers for academic activities such as book discussions and knowledge-sharing forums. 

     In response, Thammasat leaders expressed strong interest in deepening collaboration. Assoc. Prof. Dumrong highlighted the university’s enthusiasm for faculty member exchanges and interpreter training programs. Assoc. Prof. Pinitband emphasized the potential of leveraging data from the Thammasat Center of Excellence to enhance research strategies.  Meanwhile, Assoc. Prof. Supreedee underlined the importance of establishing a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to solidify academic cooperation. He also proposed internship programs and Senate study tours for Thammasat students to enrich their academic and professional experience.

     มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ต้อนรับผู้แทนระดับสูงจากสำนักงานเลขาธิการวุฒิสภาของประเทศไทย เมื่อวันที่ 25 มิถุนายน 2568 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์ เพื่อยกระดับการสร้างความร่วมมือทางวิชาการของสองหน่วยงาน ในการนี้ ผู้แทนธรรมศาสตร์ นำโดย รศ. ดร.สุปรีดี ฤทธิรงค์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมด้วย รศ. ดร.ดำรงค์ อดุลยฤทธิกุล รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิชาการ และ รศ. ดร. ม.ล.พินิตพันธุ์ บริพัตร รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม ต้อนรับและหารือกับ คุณพีระพจน์ รัตนมาลี รองเลขาธิการวุฒิสภา พร้อมด้วยผู้อำนวยการและเจ้าหน้าที่ระดับสูง

     ผู้แทนสำนักงานเลขาธิการวุฒิสภา ได้นำเสนอข้อมูลภาพรวมแนวทางการทำความร่วมมือกับหน่วยงานอื่น ๆ เช่น โครงการวิจัยร่วม การเชิญอาจารย์เพื่อบรรยายแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และจัดกิจกรรมทางวิชาการ พร้อมกล่าวถึงโครงการที่เคยทำร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัยต่าง ๆ เช่น กิจกรรม “Morning Talk” ซึ่งเป็นกิจกรรมที่เชิญอาจารย์หรือบุคลากรสายวิชาการไปบรรยายข้อมูลการทำวิจัย แบ่งปันแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ รวมถึงการแนะนำหนังสือที่เป็นประโยชน์และสามารถนำไปใช้ในการวางนโยบายและปฏิบัติงาน

     ผู้บริหารฝ่ายธรรมศาสตร์ ได้นำเสนอแนวทางที่สนใจในการทำความร่วมมือ โดย รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิชาการ เสนอความร่วมมือด้านการแลกเปลี่ยนอาจารย์เพื่อเป็นวิทยากร การฝึกอบรมล่าม ในส่วนของรองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม เน้นย้ำการยกระดับการใช้ฐานข้อมูลจากศูนย์แห่งความเป็นเลิศทางวิชาการ (Center of Excellence) เพื่อการสนับสนุนการพัฒนางานวิจัย นอกจากนี้ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ให้ความสำคัญในการขยายความร่วมมือ โดยเสนอให้วุฒิสภาส่งร่างสัญญาความร่วมมือ (MOU) มาเพื่อพิจารณา และเพิ่มเติมประเด็นโครงการฝึกงานของนักศึกษาและการศึกษาดูงานในรัฐสภา เพื่อสนับสนุนประสบการณ์ด้านวิชาการระหว่างเรียน
