Update: Thammasat University has discussed an academic collaboration with academic partnership network.

Thammasat and Daio Kaiun Recruit Hold MOU Signing Ceremony.

     On 18 July 2025, Thammasat University officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Daio Kaiun Recruit Co., Ltd, Japan, during a ceremony held on Thammasat’s Rangsit campus. The agreement was signed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreedee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Affairs, and Mr. Seiki Ozaki, Representative Director at Daio Kaiun Recruit. 

     The two sides have entered into the agreement to provide online Japanese language courses, internships and job openings at Japanese companies, as well as the organization of job fairs and professional seminars.

     Following the signing, the two university leaders co-chaired a bilateral meeting of follow-up discussions and to update the proposal timeline. Representing Thammasat University in the discussions were Associate and Assistant Deans from the Faculties of Science and Technology and Engineering. Joining Mr. Seiki Ozaki was Ms. De Jesus Charlene Aika from Daio Kaiun Recruit’s Talent Acquisition Department.

     This ceremony marks the initial step toward fostering long-standing cooperation between the two parties and to enhance students’ competencies, enabling them to graduate with strong knowledge and the ability to expand their future career opportunities in Japan.

     มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ โดย รศ. ดร.สุปรีดี ฤทธิรงค์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ และ Daio Kaiun Recruit Co., Ltd, ประเทศญี่ปุ่น โดย Mr. Seiki Ozaki, Representative Director ลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ โดยมี รองคณบดีและผู้ช่วยคณบดีจากคณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี และคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ รวมถึง Ms. De Talent Acquisition Department ผู้แทนจาก Daio เข้าร่วมฯ เมื่อวันที่ 18 กรกฎาคม 2568 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ศูนย์รังสิต

     โดยความร่วมมือครั้งนี้ เพื่อสนับสนุนคอร์สเรียนภาษาญี่ปุ่น โครงการฝึกงานและโอกาสการสมัครเข้าทำงาน ณ บริษัทเอกชนชั้นนำในญี่ปุ่น รวมถึงการจัดนิทรรศการการหางานและเสวนาเกี่ยวกับวิชาชีพสำหรับนักศึกษาธรรมศาสตร์ พร้อมทั้งหารือความคืบหน้าเกี่ยวกับระยะเวลา และขั้นตอนของโครงการฝึกงาน นับเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือให้ความมั่นคงในระยะยาวระหว่างสองฝ่าย และเป็นการสร้างพื้นฐานทักษะความรู้ความสามารถสำหรับนักศึกษาธรรมศาสตร์เพื่อที่จะสามารถพัฒนาและเติบโตในสายอาชีพของตนเองในประเทศญี่ปุ่นได้ 

Thammasat explores expanded collaboration with University of York.

     On 16 July 2025, Thammasat University welcomed representatives from the University of York, United Kingdom, to its Rangsit campus to explore avenues for expanded academic collaboration.

     Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreedee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Affairs, hosted the meeting with Prof. Dr. Antonios Roumpakis, Head of Social Policy, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aniela Wenham, Deputy Head of Social Policy, from York’s School for Business and Society. Also attending the meeting were executives from the Faculties of Social Administration, Learning Sciences and Education, and the Language Institute.

     Currently, the Faculty of Social Administration and the School for Business and Society cooperate at the faculty-level on a dual degree program. During the meeting, the University of York delegation expressed keen interest in expanding collaboration with other faculties at Thammasat, particularly in research initiatives and short-term academic programs.

     The Faculty of Learning Sciences and Education proposed further collaboration in research, with an emphasis on social sciences, mental health and well-being. Meanwhile, the Language Institute expressed interest in pursuing joint research on the sociology of education.

     To elevate the partnership to the university-level, Assoc. Prof. Supreedee highlighted the importance of developing internship programs with credit transfer opportunities.

     รศ. ดร.สุปรีดี ฤทธิรงค์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ต้อนรับ Prof. Dr. Antonios Roumpakis หัวหน้าสาขานโยบายสังคม และ Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aniela Wenham รองหัวหน้าสาขาจาก School for Business and Society, University of York สหราชอาณาจักร เพื่อหารือแนวทางการขยายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ โดยมี คณาจารย์จากคณะสังคมสงเคราะห์ศาสตร์ คณะวิทยาการเรียนรู้และศึกษาศาสตร์ และสถาบันภาษา เข้าร่วมฯ เมื่อวันที่ 16 กรกฎาคม 2568 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ศูนย์รังสิต

     ปัจจุบัน คณะสังคมสงเคราะห์ศาสตร์ เป็นคู่สัญญาระดับคณะกับ School for Business and Society ในการพัฒนาหลักสูตร Dual Degree Program ซึ่งในระหว่างการหารือผู้แทนจาก York แสดงความสนใจในการขยายความร่วมมือกับคณะอื่น ๆ ของธรรมศาสตร์ในด้านการทำงานวิจัยและโครงการระยะสั้น

     โดยผู้แทนคณะวิทยาการเรียนรู้และศึกษาศาสตร์ ได้เสนอการทำความร่วมมือในอนาคตเกี่ยวกับการทำวิจัยร่วมกัน เฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในสาขาสังคมศาสตร์ สุขภาพจิตและสุขภาวะ ส่วนผู้แทนจากสถาบันภาษาได้แสดงความสนใจในการทำวิจัยร่วมในสาขาสังคมวิทยาการศึกษา นอกจากนี้ เพื่อเป็นการยกระดับความร่วมมือไปสู่ระดับมหาวิทยาลัย รศ. ดร.สุปรีดี ได้เน้นย้ำความสำคัญของการพัฒนาความร่วมมือผ่านโครงการฝึกงานสำหรับนักศึกษาธรรมศาสตร์พร้อมการโอนหน่วยกิตได้ 

Thammasat explores internship opportunities with Yazaki Group.

     On 8 July 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreedee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Affairs, along with the OIA Coordinator for Asia, welcomed Mr. Toshiaki Yagi, General Manager of the Business Planning Division at YIC Asia Pacific Corporation Limited, a company under Japan’s Yazaki Group. The meeting took place at the Office of International Affairs on Thammasat’s Tha Prachan. Joining Mr. Yagi was Mr. Prapakorn Yodtomorn, International Coordinator at Hyogo University.

     During the visit, the Japanese delegation shared valuable insights into Yazaki Group’s operation, including its corporate background, business strategies, manufacturing facilities in Thailand, and its engineering products such as automotive component parts, electric wire, and copper wire rods.

     The discussions focused on enhancing academic collaboration through internship programs, particularly for engineering students whose qualifications align with Yazaki Group’s requirements.

     To strengthen this prospective partnership, Dr. Supreedee proposed a site visit for Thammasat executives, especially representatives from the Faculty of Engineering and the Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), to tour Yazaki’s production facilities.

     โดยผู้แทนฝ่ายบริษัทญี่ปุ่นได้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญเกี่ยวกับการบริหารงานและการดำเนินงานของบริษัท Yazaki เช่น ประวัติความเป็นมา แนวทางการบริหารงาน กลยุทธ์การทำธุรกิจ และโรงงานอุตสาหกรรมที่เปิดในประเทศไทย

     การหารือครั้งนี้ ให้ความสำคัญในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการผ่านโครงการฝึกงานสำหรับนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ โดยเฉพาะนักศึกษาด้านวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ โดย รศ. ดร.สุปรีดี ได้เสนอการเข้าเยี่ยมชมโรงงานสายการผลิตของบริษัท Yazaki เพื่อส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในอนาคต
