You will learn how the language, communication, technology, arts, history, literature, and politics of Britain and the United States shape British and American society, affect your community, and impact global dynamics. The major enriches your knowledge about globalization, social justice, culture and aesthetics, digital technology, intercultural communication, entertainment, politics, human rights, and government through 4 signature areas of study important for creating positive social change and advancing your career: Communication and Digital Media, Culture and History, Foreign Relations and Government and Arts and Literature.

Unlike a traditional major in which you only focus on one academic subject, BAS allows you to take a variety of courses to expand your knowledge, abilities, and interests.
