On 1 September 2026, Faculty of Public Health, Thammasat University (FPHTU), welcomed representatives from Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Surabaya (UBAYA), Indonesia, for a Collaborative Discussion and Faculty Meeting at Room 1033, 10th Floor, Piyachart Building 1, Thammasat University (Rangsit Campus).

     The meeting was honored by the presence of Dr. Risma Ikawaty, Ph.D., Vice Dean of Academic and Student Affairs, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Surabaya (UBAYA). Representing FPHTU were Assistant Professor Dr. Soisuda Kesornthong, Dean of Faculty of Public Health; Assistant Professor Police Major Dr. Katiya Ivanovitch, Deputy Dean for Administration and International Affairs; and Associate Professor Dr. Li Liang, Lecturer at the Faculty of Public Health. A key focus of the meeting was the exchange of information and perspectives on graduate-level academic programs, particularly the structure and development of postgraduate curricula, academic management, and opportunities to enhance learning experiences for graduate students.

     The meeting provided a valuable platform for both institutions to exchange experiences, identify common areas of interest, and explore practical approaches to future collaboration. The discussions reflected a shared commitment to strengthening graduate education, academic exchange, and institutional cooperation between the Faculty of Public Health, Thammasat University, and Universitas Surabaya.The visit marks another meaningful step in strengthening academic ties between Thailand and Indonesia and in developing opportunities for continued collaboration in postgraduate education and academic exchange.
