Update: Thammasat University has discussed an academic collaboration with academic partnership network.

C.V. Raman Global and Thammasat hold a Follow-up Discussion to explore further Collaboration

     On 28 May 2026, Dr. Usanee Patapsikij Lertrattananon, Assistant to the Rector for International Affairs, hosted a follow–up meeting with a delegation from C.V. Raman Global University (CGU), India at the Thammasat Rangsit Center, The CGU delegation included Prof. Dr. Sasmita Mishra, Dean of International Education (Department of Business Management), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Madhusudan Maiti from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, for a follow–up meeting at the Thammasat Rangsit Center. They were also welcomed by Assistants to the Dean from the Faculty of Science and Technology and Thammasat School of Engineering. This discussion followed an initial meeting held at Thammasat Tha Prachan, which CGU had attended alongside the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI).

     During a discussion, CGU delegation introduced comprehensive overview of the university’s strengths and specialized areas of expertise in engineering, accredited by Indian government, including Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) and National Board of Accreditation (NBA) as well as highlighting CGU’s strong partnerships with the industrial sector, which are designed to equip students with practical, hands–on experience outside the classroom.

     To build further collaboration, CGU side expressed an interest in exploring potential partnerships in GIS (Geographic Information System), Satellite Project, and Semiconductor. However, while Thammasat noted that its current academic programs do not cover these specific disciplines, it signaled a strong readiness to explore cooperation in alternative fields;

     Potential fields of cooperation noted during the meeting included Sustainable Development Technology, Environmental Science, Mathematics and Statistics, Physics, and computer science training programs, specifically focusing on drone technology and semiconductors, instructed by the Faculty of Science and Technology. Meanwhile, the Thammasat School of Engineering expressed interest in pursuing student exchanges, joint research, and virtual seminars.

     Additionally, the Assistant to the Rector for International Affairs noted that Thammasat’s College of Innovation is ready to cooperate with CGU’s Hotel and Hospitality Administration program.

Raman Global University (CGU) ประเทศอินเดีย ณ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ศูนย์รังสิต โดยมีผู้แทนจากคณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ และคณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี เข้าร่วมฯ

     ผู้แทนจาก CGU ได้นำเสนอข้อมูลภาพรวมและจุดแข็งของสถาบัน รวมถึงความโดดเด่นด้านวิชาการโดยเฉพาะด้านวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ ซึ่งได้รับการรับรองมาตรฐานโดยรัฐบาลสาธารณรัฐอินเดีย อาทิ Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) และ National Board of Accreditation (NBA) นอกจากนี้ ทางสถาบันยังให้ความสำคัญยิ่งในการสร้างความร่วมมือกับภาคอุตสาหกรรม เพื่อสนับสนุนการฝึกงานและการฝึกปฏิบัติจากประสบการณ์จริงนอกห้องเรียน

     นอกจากนี้ ผู้แทนจาก CGU มีความสนใจในด้าน GIS (Geographic Information System), Satellite Project และ Semiconductor โดยหลักสูตรในปัจจุบันของธรรมศาสตร์ อาจยังไม่ครอบคลุมสาขาเหล่านี้โดยตรง แต่อย่างไรก็ตาม คณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี มีความพร้อมและมีศักยภาพที่จะพัฒนาหลักสูตรฝึกอบรมระยะสั้นร่วมกันในสาขา Computer Science ที่มุ่งเน้นศึกษาเกี่ยวกับ Drone Technology และ Semiconductor รวมถึงสาขาอื่น ๆ เช่น Sustainable Development Technology, Environmental Science, Mathematics and Statistics, Physics ขณะเดียวกัน คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ ได้แสดงความสนใจในการจัดกิจกรรมทางวิชาการร่วมกัน อาทิ โครงการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษา การทำวิจัยร่วม และการจัดสัมมนาออนไลน์

     ทั้งนี้ ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ได้ให้ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับวิทยาลัยนวัตกรรม มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ซึ่งมีหลักสูตรที่สอดคล้องและสามารถขยายความร่วมมือกับสาขา Hotel & Hospitality Administration ของ CGU ได้เป็นอย่างดี

Thammasat and SOAS Advance Further Collaboration

     On 5 May 2026, the Office of International Affairs at Thammasat University hosted a meeting with representatives from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) University of London, UK, led by Prof. Adam Habib, Vice–Chancellor, along with senior executives at SOAS. The delegates were received by the OIA Director, together with the Vice Dean for Research and International Affairs and executives from Pridi Banomyong International College.

     The visit aimed to review and strengthen existing cooperation between Thammasat and SOAS, while exploring opportunities to deepen collaboration at the graduate level, with particular emphasis on joint degree and double degree programs in the fields of Political Science and International Relations, Social Sciences and Humanities, Linguistics, Culture and Area Studies, Development Studies as well as advancing strategic partnerships.

     To deepen academic ties, Thammasat expressed its readiness to further expand collaboration with relevant faculties, particularly in the fields of Social Sciences, Political Science, and Liberal Arts.

     During the meeting, SOAS introduced its new academic initiatives, including reimagined partnerships, co–developed curricula, collaborative teaching and learning models, and hybrid or blended learning approaches.

     This visit marks another significant step towards strengthening the long–standing academic collaboration between the two institutions, expanding cooperation beyond university–wide agreements to the faculty–level. 

ธรรมศาสตร์ หารือ SOAS เพื่อพัฒนาความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ

     เมื่อวันที่ 5 พฤษภาคม 2569 กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ให้การต้อนรับและหารือกับผู้แทนจาก the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) มหาวิทยาลัยลอนดอน ในสหราชอาณาจักร นำโดย Prof. Adam Habib ตำแหน่ง Vice–Chancellor พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหารระดับสูงของ SOAS โดยมีผู้อำนวยการกองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ และรองคณบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมด้วยคณาจารย์จากวิทยาลัยนานาชาติปรีดี พนมยงค์ ร่วมให้การต้อนรับ

     การเยือนในครั้งนี้เพื่อทบทวนและเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือปัจจุบันระหว่างมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์และ SOAS ให้แข็งแกร่งยิ่งขึ้น พร้อมทั้งแสวงหาโอกาสในการขยายกรอบความร่วมมือในระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา โดยมุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาหลักสูตรร่วม (Joint Degree) และหลักสูตรปริญญาคู่ (Double Degree) ในสาขารัฐศาสตร์และความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างประเทศ สังคมศาสตร์และมนุษยศาสตร์ ภาษาศาสตร์ วัฒนธรรมและอาณาบริเวณศึกษา รวมถึงหลักสูตรพัฒนศึกษา ตลอดจนการขับเคลื่อนหุ้นส่วนทางยุทธศาสตร์วิชาการร่วมกัน

     มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ได้แสดงความพร้อมที่จะขยายความร่วมมือไปยังกับคณะต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในสาขาสังคมศาสตร์ รัฐศาสตร์ และศิลปศาสตร์

     โดยฝ่าย SOAS ได้นำเสนอโครงการทางวิชาการใหม่ ๆ ได้แก่ การยกระดับความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบัน การร่วมมือพัฒนาหลักสูตร รวมถึงรูปแบบการเรียนการสอนแบบการเรียนรู้แบบผสมผสานทั้งในห้องเรียนและออนไลน์

     การเยือนครั้งนี้นับเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการอันยาวนานระหว่างทั้งสองสถาบัน และนับเป็นการต่อยอดความร่วมมือระดับมหาวิทยาลัยไปสู่ความร่วมมือในระดับคณะอย่างเป็นรูปธรรมมากยิ่งขึ้น

Thammasat and Advance HE Discuss Promoting Excellence in Higher Education

     On 19 May 2026, Thammasat University, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chayakrit Asvathitanont, Vice Rector for Human Resources, together with Dr. Usanee Patapsikij Lertrattanon, Assistant to the Rector for International Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Adisorn Juntrasook, Dean of the Faculty of Learning Sciences and Education, welcomed Mr. Daniel Sheratte, International Partnerships Manager at Advance Higher Education (Advance HE), UK, for a meeting at the Office of International Affairs (OIA) on Thammasat’s Tha Prachan campus.

     During the meeting, Advance HE, a non–profit organization dedicated to advancing higher education, introduced its role in supporting universities to enhance institutional performance, meet international standards, and strengthen global reputation. The representative also highlighted Advance HE’s collaboration with higher education institutions in promoting teaching excellence and professional development through the Professional Standards Framework (PSF).

     The Thammasat delegation expressed its interest in adopting the Professional Standards Framework (PSF) to enhance the quality of teaching and learning at the university, as well as pursuing Fellowship scheme accreditation to strengthen communities of practice among faculty and staff.

     Both sides also explored opportunities for future collaboration in staff capacity building, the enhancement of teaching and learning practices, and the promotion of international professional recognition in higher education. Additionally, Advance HE invited Thammasat to become a member, offering benefits such as Fellowship fee waivers, access to professional resources and training, networking opportunities, scholarships, consultancy support, and other institutional development opportunities.

     เมื่อวันที่ 19 พฤษภาคม 2569 มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ นำโดย ผศ. ดร.ชยกฤต อัศวธิตานนท์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหารทรัพยากรมนุษย์ พร้อมด้วย อาจารย์ ดร.อุษณีษ์ ปฐพีศรีกิจส เลิศรัตนานนท์ ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ และ ผศ. ดร.อดิศร จันทรสุข คณบดีคณะวิทยาการเรียนรู้และศึกษาศาสตร์ ให้การต้อนรับ Mr. Daniel Sheratte ตำแหน่ง International Partnerships Manager จาก Advance Higher Education (Advance HE) สหราชอาณาจักร ระหว่างการเยือนกองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์

     ผู้แทน Advance HE ได้แนะนำองค์กรในฐานะเป็นองค์กรที่ไม่แสวงหากำไร ดำเนินงานด้านการสนับสนุนการพัฒนาคุณภาพการศึกษาอุดมศึกษาร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัย ให้มีมาตรฐานและเป็นที่ยอมรับในระดับสากล อีกทั้งองค์กรยังให้ความสำคัญในการทำงานร่วมกับหน่วยงานภาครัฐ และองค์กรด้านการศึกษาเพื่อยกระดับการเรียนการสอน การบริหารจัดการ ให้ได้ตามกรอบมาตรฐานด้านการเรียนการสอนในระดับอุดมศึกษาสากล หรือ Professional Standards Framework (PSF)

     โดย มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ให้ความสนใจในการนำ the Professional Standards Framework (PSF) มาประยุกต์ใช้ขับเคลื่อนคุณภาพการเรียนการสอนในบริบทของมหาวิทยาลัย รวมถึงการสมัครขอรับการรับรอง Fellowship ตามกรอบ PSF เพื่อประโยชน์ต่อบุคลากรสายวิชาการ

     ทั้งนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายหารือความเป็นไปได้ในการพัฒนาความร่วมมือในอนาคต โดยเฉพาะด้านการพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากร การเรียนการสอน และการรับรองมาตรฐานวิชาชีพด้านอุดมศึกษาในระดับสากล
