Thammasat, through the Faculty of Public Health, hosts ‘Erasmus+ Thailand 2026’ to boost Thai Higher Education for Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) Funding.

     Thammasat University, with MHESI’s Office of International Affairs and the EU Delegation to Thailand, hosted the seminar “Erasmus+ Thailand 2026: Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE)” on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Novotel Bangkok Siam Square. The event aimed to prepare Thai higher education institutions for EU CBHE grant proposals and foster domestic and international networks for systemic impact.

     The Faculty of Public Health at Thammasat University plays a crucial role in driving academic activities, exchanging experiences, and building cooperative networks among higher education institutions. Faculty members and staff within the Faculty of Public Health actively participate in significant activities throughout the seminar.

     During the event, Asst. Prof. Pol. Maj. Dr. Katiya Ivanovich, Deputy Dean for Administration and International Relations of the Faculty of Public Health, served as the moderator for the discussion on the topic “Strategies for Finding Collaborative Partners and Building Alliance Networks.” This platform is significant for exchanging strategies for developing collaborative networks and fostering strategic partnerships for the future development of CBHE projects.

     While Assoc. Prof. Li Liang, a faculty member of the Faculty of Public Health and coordinator of the THE-GLOW project (Transdisciplinary Higher Education for Global Wellbeing), which is one of the projects funded under Erasmus+ CBHE, participated as a speaker in the discussion on the topic “Sharing Experiences from Successful CBHE Projects” alongside representatives from Mahidol University, Burapha University, and Siam University.

     The “Thematic Speed Networking on CBHE Priority Areas” session allowed national higher education personnel to connect and develop project concepts on key EU priorities, including the Green Deal, Digital Transformation, Sustainable Growth and Jobs, and New Skills. Faculty of Public Health representatives Mr. Nontakaron Moolthatham and Mr. Santhipoj Muenkid facilitated the discussion.

     Additionally, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supredee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Relations at Thammasat University, delivered opening remarks highlighting Thai-EU educational cooperation and the internationalization of Thai higher education.
