Thammasat University Birthday Donation Campaign Camp, learning and passing on the intention of being a giver.

     Thammasat Birthday Merit Fund by Thammasat Relations Office organized the "Thammasat University Birthday Donation Campaign Camp 2023" at Thammasat University, Lampang Campus for students to participate in the activities together, cultivating their knowledge, competence, morality, and becoming graduates who benefit society in the future, as well as realizing the importance of valuable human resources. The activities were conducted with the aim to raise awareness of Thammasat students to be responsible for oneself, society and, or the public.

     The activities were honored by Mr. Siriwat Bupphacharoen, Deputy Governor of Lampang Province, Mr. Tuangrat Lohsoonthorn, President of Lampang Provincial Administrative Organization, Mr. Chatchai Suratsanant, Secretary of Thammasat Lampang Club, and Ms. Kulrasamee Namkaewratmanee, Northern Thammasat Association jointly share their inspiring stories, learning experiences, and life in Thammasat University.

     In this regard, Thammasat University,  Lampang Campus administrators led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supreeya Kaewlae, Vice Rector for Lampang Campus Administration and Law, Thammasat University, Asst. Prof. Pimchat Rossutham, Assistant to the Rector for Student Affairs and Public Relations, Lampang Campus, Professor Dr. Nattakorn Chuchuai, Assistant to the Rector for Administration and Academic Affairs, Lampang Campus, and Professor Punika Apirakkraisri, lecturer from the Faculty of Social Administration provided a warm welcome.

     There were 54 students from all faculties and years participating in the activities, together with the Fund's Executive Committee led by Professor Kasemsan Weerakul, Chairman of the Fund's Administration, Mr. Patthanapong Ranurak, Assistant to the Rector for Alumni Relation and Vice Chairman of the Fund Management Committee, Mr. Pairat Aresawangkit, Fund Executive Committee and Thammasat University alumni, and a team of talented speakers.

     This year, there were various joyable activities in the Seed incubation camp, including the Special Talk with the fund's executive committee on the topic of "I love Thammasat because.....", and the topic of "Why is it the Birthday Merit Fund with Thammasat?". There were stories sharing about Thammasat, as well as outdoor education such as on history studies, northern culture, Wat Phra That Doi Phrachan, etc. In addition, there were also pitching and E-Portfolio workshops on the topic of “Birthday Fund with Thammasat University in 2030”, self-value search workshop activities, and “Brainstorm activities for society”, which were activities that allow students to join together in brainstorming and presenting ideas for helping society.

     The Thammasat University Birthday Donation Campaign Camp 2023 would not be able to happen regardless of all sponsors, the fund would like to express sincerest thanks and appreciation to the Lampang Campus Administration Division who provided assistance on activity rooms and various audio equipment, The Property and Sports Management Office for the Dome Drinking Water, and TOFUSAN, a kind sponsor who supplied soy milk drinks. Lastly, the Fund would have to thank all givers, those who donate to provide scholarships for Thammasat students and donors who supported the fund in creating and organizing good activities such as the "Thammasat University Birthday Donation Campaign Camp". The fund believes that this activity will make every fund student learn the important thing which is learning to be a receiver today and continue to pass on the virtues as a giver.
