     Marking the first step of Thammasat University, Tha Phrachan Campus towards becoming an international standard historical and cultural tourist attraction.

     Recently, Thammasat University, Tha Phrachan Campus received a Thailand Tourism Certificate in the Category of Historical and Cultural Tourist attractions from the 14th Thailand Tourism Awards of the year 2023 organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

     Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surat Teerakaphiban, Vice Rector for Tha Phrachan Administration and International Affairs, Thammasat University revealed the progress of the dome building renovation that at this time, Thammasat University, Tha Phrachan Campus has taken steps to improve and reinforce the foundation of the dome building following the recommendations of the expert team from the Fine Arts Department under strict measures to reduce the impact on the original structure. This is to support the expansion of the historical and cultural education area and is open to students, personnel, citizens, and tourists to visit, learn and exchange experiences. It is expected to be completed in 2025 as planned.

The Thai Tourism Awards is an award that certifies the quality of tourism products and services with responsible tourism standards to encourage entrepreneurs in developing their products by focusing on quality and good service in order to upgrade to tourism that meets the “White Tourism” Standard that is convenient, clean, safe, fair and environmentally friendly, creating value of Thai tourism products to the international level.
