The Faculty of Nursing at Thamamsat hosted 2023 ICPC&FHN.

The Faculty of Nursing at Thamamsat (TUFON) hosted the 1st International Conference in Palliative Care and Family Health Nursing (2023 ICPC&FHN).

     The 2023 ICPC&FHN was claimed to be among the first of its kind to drive SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) for our societies and was well received by more than 350 attendees from around the world. Not only getting attention from worldwide scholars, on the other hand, the 2023 ICPC&FHN also received positive responses from 21 top institutes in Thailand, the U.S.A, Japan, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, and the Philippines to co-host this event. The conference also became a platform for sharing new scientific contributions from nearly 100 research presentations, six papers published in the proceeding, and ten manuscripts in SCOPUS. Distinguished keynote speakers from the U.S.A., Taiwan, China, Sweden, South Korea, and Thailand shared their intensive experience through plenary, symposium, and discussion sessions during the two days of the conference.

     On June 26, 2023, TUFON had the great honor and privilege of the Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suchittra Luangamornlert (President of the Thailand Nursing and Midwifery Council) and Assoc. Prof. Gasinee Witoonchart (Rector of Thammasat University) to preside over the opening ceremony along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Pregamol Rutchanagul (Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Thammasat University) and representatives from co-host institutes. Subsequent activities consisted of plenary and symposium sessions aimed at palliative care and its update. Academic and research activities on the 2nd day focused on the knowledge of family health nursing through symposium sessions. Oral and poster presentations were allocated during the two days of the conference to extend knowledge from ground research worldwide. This conference ended with an award ceremony bestowing to outstanding researchers of the best oral and poster presentation award and then culminated with the closing ceremony.

     The conference was completed with positive feedback and goal achievements. TUFON has left a trace to continue to disseminate knowledge on palliative care and family health nursing in the 2nd ICPC&FHN.
