Thammasat joins hands with K-MEDI Hub to elevate innovation-medical products.

Thammasat in collaboration with K-MEDI Hub, Republic of Korea, aiming to drive innovation and medical products.

     Thammasat University led by Assoc. Prof. Gasinee Witoonchart, Rector of Thammasat University and K-MEDI Hub, Republic of Korea led by Mr. Jin Young Yang, President of K-Medi Hub signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on academic cooperation in 4 main areas as follows;

     1. Raise the level of competitiveness in the economic sector of innovation and medical products (pharmaceuticals, diagnostic tests, vaccines and medical devices) to meet international standards that respond to the needs of society and improve people's quality of life.

     2. Support and elevate good practices (GMP, GLP and GCP) in the research and development of medical products (drugs, diagnostic tests, vaccines and medical devices) to international standards.

     3. Establish comprehensive research and development cooperation by utilizing shared resources and strengthening entrepreneurial skills in science, technology and innovation.

     4. Drive and promote the Eastern Economic Corridor Medical Hub of Thammasat University, Pattaya Campus (EECmd) to be a medical valley in 4 main areas: health, medical services, academics and products.

     Prof. Dr. Siriwan Suebnukan, Vice Rector for Research and Innovation led a team of faculty members and researchers from Thammasat University participated in medicine in the Korea International Advanced Medical Equipment & Medicine Expo 2023 (KOAMEX 2023) at the EXCO Exhibition Hall in Daegu, Republic of Korea, and that there are a total of 23 research projects  and innovations exhibited in the event as follows:
