Thammasat signed an MOU on academic cooperation with the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City  for students and faculty to develop research.

     Thammasat University, led by Assoc. Prof. Gasinee Witoonchart, Rector and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supetch Jirakajornkul, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Thammasat University and Dr.PHAN Hong Hai Chairman, University Council Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) on July 4, 2023 at Pridi Banomyong Conference Room, Dome Administrative Building, Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus. The details of this collaboration are to develop joint research, promote educational programs and enhance cultural experiences curated for students and faculty of both institutions.

     Assoc. Prof. Gasinee Witoonchart, Rector of Thammasat University, said that this cooperation is crucial in the search for excellence both in terms of innovation and international engagement. Together with the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH), we can collaboratively facilitate our expertises and resources to tackle complex issues and foster greater change through educational programs, collaborative research and cultural exchanges. We will prepare students to have the necessary experience to succeed in a fast-changing world.

     Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supetch Jirakajornkul, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Thammasat University said that the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH) is another event that makes our institutions grow and drive academic change. It is a pivotal moment for knowledge and innovation development as well as international cooperation. We see an opportunity for joint research, joint study program and cultural experiences purposely curated for our students and faculty.
