Thammasat University attends “China Education Expo 2023” in four cities across China.

     The Office of International Affairs (OIA) and Thammasat faculty members, led by the Vice Rector for Administration (Tha Prachan) and International Affairs, participated in the "China Education Expo 2023", held in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Beijing from 20 to 28 October 2023. The mission of the Expo is to promote academic collaboration between Chinese and international universities and engage with Chinese students who are considering studying abroad.

     The China Education Expo (CEE) is the biggest annual education exhibition in Asia, featuring more than 600 overseas schools and over 10,000 Chinese students from across China, serving as a crucial first step in their journey toward an overseas education. This year, Thammasat opened a booth to welcome students and parents from the four cities who are thinking about studying abroad, especially in Thailand.  The booths also attracted attention from Chinese and other international educational institutions who are keen to explore potential academic collaboration with Thammasat University. Among the distinguished institutions interested in expanding collaboration were Tsinghua University, Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, Oxford Summer School, and Zhaoqing University, among others.

     On 27 October 2023, the Vice Rector for Administration (Tha Prachan) and International Affairs, the Assistant Rector for International Affairs and the Dean of Thammasat Business School, visited Prof. Dr. Xiang Zuotao, the Vice Dean for International Affairs, and Prof. Du Decai from the School of International Studies at the School of International Studies, Peking University. Both sides expressed appreciation for the prospective collaboration under the current agreement between the two institutes and discussed ways to strengthen academic ties. The visit was facilitated by Assistant Professor Dr. Siripetch Trisanawadee, an alumnus of Peking University, who now teaches in the Chinese Studies Program at Thammasat’s Faculty of Liberal Arts.  

ธรรมศาสตร์ เข้าร่วมนิทรรศการการศึกษา China Education Expo 2023 ใน 4 เมืองของจีน

     กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ นำโดย รศ.ดร.สุรัตน์ ทีรฆาภิบาล รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหารท่าพระจันทร์และวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมด้วย อาจารย์ ทพญ.สิริภัทรา พัชนี ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ เจ้าหน้าที่กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ และผู้บริหาร เจ้าหน้าที่จากคณะต่าง ๆ จำนวน 10 คณะ เดินทางเข้าร่วมงาน China Education Expo 2023 ระหว่างวันที่ 20-28 ตุลาคม 2566 ณ เมืองเซี่ยงไฮ้ กวางโจว เฉินตู และ ปักกิ่ง สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน เพื่อประชาสัมพันธ์แนะนำมหาวิทยาลัย หลักสูตรนานาชาติ และการสมัครเข้าศึกษาสำหรับนักศึกษาชาวต่างชาติผ่านโครงการ Thammasat International Student Recruitment (TISR) 2024 พร้อมโอกาสรับทุนการศึกษา

     China Education Expo (CEE) ถือเป็นงานนิทรรศการการศึกษาที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดในเอเชีย มีมหาวิทยาลัยและสถาบันการศึกษาจากนานาประเทศ เข้าร่วมกว่า 600 แห่ง และมีผู้เข้าร่วมมากกว่า 10,000 คนจากทุกภูมิภาคของจีนเข้าร่วมในแต่ละปี ในครั้งนี้ ธรรมศาสตร์ร่วมเปิดบูธ และได้รับความสนใจจากนักเรียน นักศึกษา ผู้ปกครอง ในทั้ง 4 เมือง เป็นอย่างมาก นอกจากนี้ มหาวิทยาลัยชื่อดังได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมบูธของธรรมศาสตร์ เพื่อหารือความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ เช่น Tsinghua University, Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, Oxford Summer School, Zhaoqing University

     ในวันที่ 27 ตุลาคม 2566 รศ.ดร.สุรัตน์ ทีรฆาภิบาล รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหารท่าพระจันทร์และวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมด้วย อาจารย์ ทพญ.สิริภัทรา พัชนี ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ และ รศ.ดร.สมชาย สุภัทรกุล คณบดีคณะพาณิชยศาสตร์และการบัญชี เข้าพบ Prof. Dr. Xiang zuotao รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ และ Prof. Du Decai ผู้ประสานงานของ International Studies ณ Peking University เพื่อหารือเรื่องการทำสัญญาความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ และรับฟังการบรรยาย พร้อมเยี่ยมชมบรรยากาศรอบ ๆ มหาวิทยาลัย การเยือนครั้งนี้ ได้รับความอนุเคราะห์การประสานงาน โดย ผศ.ดร.ศิริเพ็ชร ทฤษณาวดี อาจารย์ประจำสาขาวิชาภาษาจีน คณะศิลปศาสตร์ ในฐานะศิษย์เก่าของ Peking University

Woosung visit Thammasat to explore link-ups.

     Prof. Yoo-Taek Lee, Executive Dean of International Schools (SolBridge, JCF & ECIS) and Dean of Endicott College of International Studies from Woosong University in Korea, visited the Office of International Affairs, Thammasat-Tha Prachan, on November 13, 2023. He was greeted and welcomed by the Director of the Office of International Affairs (OIA), Ms. Surussawadee Artnonla, together with the OIA Coordinator for Asia and the Coordinator for AIMS Programs.

    After Prof. Lee’s briefing on" A Global Learning Platform: A Case Study of PAMS”, both sides discussed the possibility of expanding academic collaboration at the university level via summer programs and an initiation of an exchange program under AIMS.

     Prof. Yoo-Taek Lee คณบดีจาก International Schools (SolBridge, JCF & ECIS) และ Endicott College of International Studies, Woosong University ประเทศเกาหลีใต้ เดินทางเยือนกองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์ เมื่อวันที่ 13 พฤศจิกายน 2566 ให้การต้อนรับโดย นางสาวสุรัสวดี อาจนนท์ลา ผู้อำนวยการกองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมด้วยผู้ประสานงานโครงการ AIMS และผู้ประสานงานภูมิภาคเอเชีย

     หลังจากที่ผู้แทนจาก Woosung นำเสนอข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับ "A Global Learning Platform: A Case Study of PAMS,"  ทั้งสองฝ่าย ได้หารือความเป็นไปได้ในการทำความร่วมมือระดับมหาวิทยาลัย ผ่านโครงการ Summer Program และโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาผ่านโครงการ AIMS
