OIA throws a Farewell Party for Inter-students Semester 1/2023

     More than 100 inter-students joined a Farewell Party under the theme “Colorful Vibe”, organized by The Office of International Affairs organized on 1 December 2023 at the Riverside Room of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammasat-Tha Prachan. The students were welcomed to the party by the Vice Rector for Administration (Tha Prachan) and International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surat Teerakapibal.

     Students, dressed up in “colorful vibe” costumes, shared their experiences at Thammasat.  The top three voted as “Best Costume” received unique Thammasat memorabilia as gifts.

     Before a group photo, students enjoyed a buffet lunch featuring an array of Thai cuisine from a renowned Bangkok restaurant. The Tha Prachan Music Club provided musical background to round out a fond farewell to students returning home.

กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ จัดงานเลี้ยงอำลาสำหรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติ ปีการศึกษา 1/2566

     นักศึกษาต่างชาติ มากกว่า 100 คน ร่วมงานเลี้ยงอำลานักศึกษาภายใต้ธีมสีสันสดใส (Colorful Vibe) จัดโดยกองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ เมื่อวันที่ 1 ธันวาคม 2566 ณ ห้องประชุมริมน้ำ คณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์ โดยมี รศ.ดร.สุรัตน์ ทีรฆาภิบาล รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหารท่าพระจันทร์และวิเทศสัมพันธ์ กล่าวต้อนรับ

     ภายในงานมีกิจกรรม Ice-Breaking activities เพื่อกระตุ้นให้นักศึกษาร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้ขณะที่ศึกษา ณ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ และเพื่อสานสัมพันธ์ความเป็นมิตรภาพระหว่างกัน นอกจากนี้ นักศึกษาที่ชนะการประกวดการแต่งตัวตามธีมที่กำหนด 3 ลำดับแรก ได้รับรางวัลของที่ระลึกสัญลักษณ์ธรรมศาสตร์

     ปิดท้ายด้วยการถ่ายภาพหมู่เพื่อสร้างความทรงจำ นักศึกษาร่วมรับประทานอาหารไทย ภายใต้บรรยากาศที่เป็นกันเอง ริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา พร้อมเพลงประกอบดนตรีจากชมรม Tha Prachan Music Club

Inter-Symposium: Unleashing the Full Potential of Women in International Trade

     Nearly 200 participants - Thammasat students, faculty and distinguished guests from Thailand and abroad - gathered for an international symposium: Unleashing the Full Potential of Women in International Trade. The event was held at the Sriburapha Auditorium at Tha Phrachan on 27 November 2023. On hand to welcome the participants for the full afternoon event was Thammasat Rector, Assoc. Prof. Gasinee Witoonchart, who hailed the symposium as a significant celebration in the run-up to mark Thammasat’s 90th Anniversary in 2024, honoring the university’s legacy and future as a “World-class University for the People”

     Among the Thai and international guests were H.E. Ping Kitnikone, Ambassador of Canada to Thailand, Laos and Cambodia; Ms. Christine Nakamura (Vice-President of the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada); and Ms. Lisa Pierce (Vice President, Global Sales for Air Canada and Air Canada Vacations), Dr. Nahathai Thewphaingarm, Vice-Minister, Office of the Prime Minister of Thailand, Ms. Sittharmanin “Pam” Susamawathanakun, Managing Director, OH! Rich, Ms. Oranuch “Mimee” Lerdsuwankij, Co-founder & CEO, Techsauce and Thailand Accelerator, Dr. Patnaree Srisuphaolarn, Associate Professor, Department of International Business, Logistics and Transport, Dr. Natenapha Wailerdsak (Yabushita), Associate Professor, Department of Organization, Entrepreneurship and Human Resource Management.

     Two panel discussions were held in which representatives from Thammasat and international institutions discussed policy and strategic development in driving economic growth, promoting collaboration between Thailand and Canada. All attendees, especially Thammasat students, were inspired by the vision of panelists from both the government and private sectors. The symposium was a joint effort of the TU Office of International Affairs, the Embassy of Canada, the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APFC), and Air Canada.   

     To end the day on a culturally festive note, participants enjoyed celebrating Loy Krathong with a workshop and floating Krathong on the Chao Phraya River near the iconic Tha Prachan Dome Building.

สัมมนานานาชาติ ‘Unleashing the Full Potential of Women in International Trade’

     กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตแคนาดาประจำประเทศไทย the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APFC) และ Air Canada จัดสัมมนานานาชาติ ภายใต้หัวข้อ Unleashing the Full Potential of Women in International Trade เมื่อวันที่ 27 พฤศจิกายน 2566 ณ หอประชุมศรีบูรพา (หอประชุมเล็ก) มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์ โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมเกือบ 200 คน ประกอบด้วยนักศึกษา อาจารย์ เจ้าหน้าที่ และแขกผู้มีเกียรติทั้งในประเทศไทยและต่างประเทศ

     โดย รศ.เกศินี วิฑูรชาติ อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ กล่าวเปิดงานและต้อนรับผู้เข้าร่วมงานพร้อมกล่าวถึงความสำคัญของงานสัมมนาในครั้งนี้ และยังเป็นหนึ่งในงานเฉลิมฉลองที่สำคัญของการครบรอบ 90 ปี แห่งการสถาปนามหาวิทยาลัยในปี 2567 (2024) อย่างสมเกียรติที่รู้จักในนามของมหาวิทยาลัยระดับโลกเพื่อประชาชน (World-class University for the People)

     ภายในงานมีอาคันตุกะทั้งในและต่างประเทศที่มีชื่อเสียงระดับโลกและมีผลงานความสำเร็จที่เป็นประจักษ์ ได้แก่ เอกอัครราชทูตแคนาดาประจำประเทศไทย H.E.      ภายในงานมีการจัดอภิปราย 2 ช่วง โดยมีผู้ร่วมอภิปรายจากธรรมศาสตร์และองค์กรนานาชาติในประเทศไทยและต่างประเทศ ร่วมอภิปรายเกี่ยวกับนโยบายและกลยุทธ์ ในการพัฒนาและขับเคลื่อนการเติบโตของเศรษฐกิจ พร้อมการสนับสนุนความร่วมมือระหว่างสองประเทศไทยและแคนาดา (policy and strategic development in driving economic growth, promoting collaboration between Thailand and Canada) ผู้ร่วมรับฟังการอภิปราย โดยเฉพาะนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากแนวคิดมุมมองด้านความสำเร็จในธุรกิจจากผู้อภิปรายจากหน่วยงานทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน

     ในช่วงท้ายของการจัดงาน กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ได้จัดกิจกรรมเรียนรู้ “การทำกระทง” เพื่อให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้ร่วมการสืบทอดประเพณีไทย พร้อมร่วมฉลองความสนุกสนานกับการร่วมลอยกระทงภายใต้บรรยากาศเทศกาลไทย ณ แม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา บริเวณลานปรีดี ซึ่งเป็นสถานที่สำคัญอีกแห่งหนึ่งของมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์
