Update: Thammasat University attends EAIE Conference and Exhibition 2024 in France.

Thammasat attends “EAIE 2024” in Toulouse, France.

The Office of International Affairs (OIA) at Thammasat University, led by Assoc. Prof. Supreedee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Affairs, participated in the annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition. Held under the theme "En Route," the event was organized by the European Association for International Education (EAIE) from 17 to 20 September 2024 in Toulouse, France. Over 7,300 participants and 200+ exhibitors attended the onsite conference, which featured a variety of sessions, workshops, networking events, inspiring plenaries, and campus tours.

     ▪️ 16 September 2024: The Thammasat team was invited to a reception hosted by Sciences Po Toulouse, where they were introduced to new EAIE members. This event provided an opportunity to engage with a wide range of topics and build valuable networks.

     ▪️ 17–20 September 2024: As the EAIE Conference commenced, the Thammasat delegates visited exhibitors, reconnected with old partners, and engaged in discussions with potential future collaborators. Conversations throughout the event focused on strengthening existing partnerships and exploring new opportunities for cooperation.

     ▪️ 21–24 September 2024 – Partnership Days: On 21 September, the Thammasat team visited Sciences Po Paris and met with Pauline Couteau, International Affairs Manager for Central and Southeast Asia, South Korea, Japan, and the Pacific. Discussions centered on expanding collaboration through initiatives such as a double degree in Political Science, visiting professor programs, and the Erasmus+ Consortium. On 23–24 September, Thammasat representatives, along with colleagues from universities in Canada, Turkey, Belgium, and Germany, visited the University of Caen Normandie (UNICAEN). This visit included one-on-one meetings and roundtable discussions on best practices in exchange programs. The team also enjoyed a historical tour of the university, learning about its founding during World War II.

ธรรมศาสตร์ ร่วมงานนิทรรศการการศึกษา “EAIE 2024” ณ เมืองตูลูส ประเทศฝรั่งเศส

     กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ นำโดย รศ. ดร.สุปรีดี ฤทธิรงค์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ เข้าร่วมงานประชุมและนิทรรศการการศึกษา EAIE 2024 (the annual EAIE Conference and Exhibition) ภายใต้หัวข้อ “En Route” จัดโดย the European Association for International Education (EAIE) ระหว่างวันที่ 17-20 กันยายน 2567 ณ เมืองตูลูส ประเทศฝรั่งเศส โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมกว่า 7,300 คน หน่วยงานร่วมออกบูธกว่า 200 บูธ ซึ่งในการประชุมและนิทรรศการฯ มีการประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการ กิจกรรมการสร้างเครือข่าย การบรรยายเพื่อสร้างแรงผลักดันให้เกิดมุมมองแนวคิดแบบใหม่ในการทำงาน รวมถึงเยี่ยมชมมหาวิทยาลัยต่าง ๆ

     • วันที่ 16 กันยายน 2567 ผู้แทนมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ร่วมงานเลี้ยงต้อนรับ จัดโดย มหาวิทยาลัย Sciences Po Toulouse ซึ่งได้พบปะพูดคุยกับสมาชิกใหม่ของ EAIE และโอกาสในการสร้างความร่วมมือและเครือข่ายในหลากหลายแนวทาง

     • วันที่ 17-20 กันยายน 2567 ผู้แทนมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ เยี่ยมชมบูธมหาวิทยาลัยคู่สัญญาเพื่อหารือแนวทางการทำงานร่วมกันในอนาคตและกิจกรรมที่ส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ และยังได้เยี่ยมชมบูธของมหาวิทยาลัยอื่น ๆ เพื่อสร้างโอกาสในการทำความร่วมมือในอนาคต

     • วันที่ 21-24 กันยายน 2567 เยี่ยมชมมหาวิทยาลัยคู่สัญญา โดยวันที่ 21 กันยายน 2567 ผู้แทนมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ได้เยือนมหาวิทยาลัย Sciences Po Paris พร้อมเข้าพบกับ Ms. Pauline Couteau, International Affairs Manager for Central and Southeast Asia, South Korea, Japan, and the Pacific เพื่อหารือการขยายความร่วมมือในรูปแบบกิจกรรมใหม่ ๆ เช่น การทำหลักสูตร double degree ในสาขารัฐศาสตร์ โปรแกรม visiting professor รวมถึงโครงการ the Erasmus+ Consortium

     จากนั้นวันที่ 23–24 กันยายน 2567 ผู้แทนมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ พร้อมด้วยผู้แทนจากมหาวิทยาลัยในแคนาดา ตุรกี เบลเยียม และเยอรมนี เดินทางเยือน the University of Caen Normandie (UNICAEN)  ระหว่างการเยือนมีการหารือแบบหน่วยงานต่อหน่วยงาน และการประชุมอภิปรายร่วมกันเพื่อหาแนวทางปฏิบัติที่ดีในการดำเนินโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษา นอกจากนี้ ยังได้เยี่ยมชมสถานที่ทางประวัติศาสตร์ของ UNICAEN และเรื่องราวการก่อตั้งมหาวิทยาลัย ซึ่งอยู่ในช่วงสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2

Thammasat and University of Surrey explore collaboration.

     On 15 October 2024, Thammasat University’s Rangsit campus hosted a high-profile delegation from the University of Surrey, UK, led by Prof. Bob Nichol, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences, and Mr. Tom Windle, Director of International Partnerships. The delegation met with Miss Surussawadee Artnonla, Director of the Office of International Affairs (OIA), alongside Assoc. Prof. Dr. Warut Pannakkong, Deputy Director for International Affairs and Corporate Relations from Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), and Dr. Veronica Winoto, Assistant Dean for Inter-Organizational and Public Relations from the Faculty of Engineering.

     The purpose of the meeting was to explore potential avenues for collaboration between Thammasat University and the University of Surrey. During the discussions, the OIA shared detailed information about Thammasat’s international programs. The University of Surrey, in turn, provided an overview of its academic offerings in the fields of Arts and Social Sciences, Engineering and Physical Sciences, and Health and Medical Sciences.

     A key area of focus was on engineering collaboration. Dr. Warut from SIIT expressed strong interest in establishing partnerships at the faculty level. Dr. Veronica from the Thammasat School of Engineering provided insights into the university's TEP (Thammasat English Program) and TEPE (Thammasat English Program of Engineering) initiatives and emphasized her desire to enhance cooperation in student exchange and study abroad programs.

     Also present at the meeting were the Head of the Division of Public Relations & Foreign Affairs from the Thammasat School of Engineering and the OIA coordinator for Europe.

This visit marks a promising step toward deeper collaboration between the two institutions, with potential benefits for students, staff, and academic research.

University of Surrey และมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ หารือการทำความร่วมมือ

     เมื่อวันที่ 15 ตุลาคม 2567 ผู้บริหารระดับสูงจาก University of Surrey สหราชอาณาจักร นำโดย Prof. Bob Nichol, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences และ Mr. Tom Windle, Director of International Partnerships เยือนมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ศูนย์รังสิต พบปะหารือกับ คุณสุรัสวดี อาจนนท์ลา ผู้อำนวยการกองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมด้วย รศ. ดร.วรุธ ปานนักฆ้อง รองผู้อำนวยการฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ สถาบันเทคโนโลยีนานาชาติสิริธร และ Dr.Veronica Winoto ผู้ช่วยคณบดีผู้ช่วยคณบดีฝ่ายวิเทศและสื่อสารองค์กร คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ โดยได้สำรวจความเป็นไปได้ในการทำความร่วมมือระหว่างธรรมศาสตร์ และ University of Surrey ทั้งนี้ ธรรมศาสตร์ ได้นำเสนอข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับหลักสูตรนานาชาติ ขณะที่ University of Surrey นำเสนอข้อมูลหลักสูตรในสาขาศิลปศาสตร์และสังคมศาสตร์ วิศวกรรมศาสตร์ วิทยาศาสตร์กายภาพ สุขศาสตร์ และแพทยศาสตร์

     ในด้านวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ รศ. ดร.วรุธ ปานนักฆ้อง มีความสนใจในการพัฒนาความร่วมมือระดับคณะ และ Dr.Veronica Winoto ให้ข้อมูลหลักสูตรนานาชาติหลักสูตร TEP และ TEPE พร้อมเน้นย้ำความสนใจในการทำความร่วมมือด้านแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาและศึกษาต่อต่างประเทศ

     การเยือนและหารือครั้งนี้ มีแนวโน้มที่สร้างความร่วมมืออันดีระหว่างสองสถาบัน ซึ่งจะส่งเสริมประโยชน์แก่นักศึกษา เจ้าหน้าที่ รวมถึงนักวิจัยของทั้งสองฝ่าย

Thammasat International Sports Day Unites Students Through Sports and Friendship

     On October 21, 2024, the Office of International Affairs, led by Assoc. Prof. Supreedee Rittironk, Vice Rector for International Affairs, along with Dr. Usanee Lertrattananon, Assistant to the Rector for International Affairs, and OIA staff, collaborated with the Thammasat University Student Union (Tha Prachan Campus) and the Recreational Creative Association of Thammasat University (RCATU) to organize the annual Thammasat International Sports Day. The event aimed to foster camaraderie among international students through friendly competition in football, volleyball, and traditional Thai sports.

     The event kicked off with opening remarks from the Vice Rector, who encouraged participants to enjoy the games and celebrate sportsmanship. The football match, featuring teams in red and yellow, was filled with excitement, with both players and spectators entertained by performances from the RCATU. At the end of the match, the Vice Rector awarded trophies and medals to the champion and runner-up teams.

     The event also featured traditional Thai sports, including three-legged races and relay races. Both Thai and international students participated enthusiastically, coming together in the spirit of unity and teamwork. The winning teams in these events were also presented with trophies and medals.

     The final event of the day was a volleyball match between the red and yellow teams, which took place in a lively and friendly atmosphere. The day concluded with all participants gathering for an exclusive Thai-style buffet dinner, celebrating a successful day of sports, fun, and friendship.

กิจกรรมกีฬาสัมพันธ์นักศึกษาต่างชาติ สร้างมิตรภาพผ่านกีฬา

     เมื่อวันที่ 21 ตุลาคม 2567 กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ นำโดย รศ. ดร.สุปรีดี ฤทธิรงค์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมด้วย ดร.อุษณีษ์ เลิศรัตนานนท์ ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ และเจ้าหน้าที่กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ร่วมกับองค์การนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์ และกองสันทนาการแห่งมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ จัดกีฬาสัมพันธ์ของนักศึกษาต่างชาติ เพื่อเสริมสร้างความสนิทสนมระหว่างนักศึกษาต่างชาติ ผ่านกิจกรรมการแข่งขันกีฬาภายใต้บรรยากาศของของความเป็นเพื่อนใหม่ ได้แก่ ฟุตบอล วอลเลย์บอลและกีฬาพื้นบ้านของไทย

     เริ่มกีฬาแรก คือ การแข่งขันฟุตบอล ระหว่างทีมสีแดงและสีเหลือง หลังจบเกม รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ได้มอบโล่รางวัลพร้อมเหรียญแก่ทีมผู้ชนะและทีมรองชนะเลิศ จากนั้นเป็นการแข่งขันกีฬาพื้นบ้านของไทย ไม่ว่าจะเป็น การวิ่งสามขา การวิ่งกระสอบ ซึ่งนักศึกษาทั้งไทยและต่างชาติร่วมแข่งขันด้วยความสามัคคี ตามด้วยการแข่งขันวอลเลย์บอล ปิดท้ายการร่วมรับประทานอาหารเย็นแบบไทย เพื่อเป็นการร่วมฉลองความสำเร็จของกิจกรรม ผสานความสนุกสนานและมิตรภาพระหว่างกัน
