     Virtual meeting between Thammasat and KU Leuven to push forward collaboration towards exchange and joint research 

      17 January 2022  - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surat Teerakapibal, Vice Rector for Administration (Tha Prachan) and International Affairs, along with Assistant Rector for International Affairs, executives and high-level representatives from Faculty of Law, Thammasat Business School, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Pharmacy and Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology, had a virtual meeting with Prof. Dr. Koen De Wandeler, KU Leuven Faculty of Architecture and Ms. Kantima Thongkhao, KU Leuven liaison officer in Thailand, in order to strengthen collaboration between both institutes in exchange and joint research.

     The meeting agreed to push academic collaboration under Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the university and faculty level, and representatives from Thammasat side have had a keen interest to cooperate in student and faculty member exchange, co-research programs, and internship at KU Leuven, Belgium, and companies in Thailand.

     รศ.ดร.สุรัตน์ ทีรฆาภิบาล รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหารท่าพระจันทร์และวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมด้วย อาจารย์ ทพญ.สิริภัทรา พัชนี ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ผู้บริหาร และผู้แทนจากคณะนิติศาสตร์ คณะพาณิชยศาสตร์และการบัญชี คณะศิลปศาสตร์ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี คณะเภสัชศาสตร์ และสถาบันเทคโนโลยีนานาชาติสิรินธร ร่วมหารือกับ Prof. Dr. Koen De Wandeler, KU Leuven Faculty of Architecture และ Ms. Kantima Thongkhao, KU Leuven liaison officer in Thailand เพื่อเสริมสร้างความความเข้มแข็งในความร่วมมือทางวิชาการด้านการแลกเปลี่ยนและวิจัย เมื่อวันที่ 17 มกราคม 2565

     โดยที่ประชุมมีข้อคิดเห็นไปในแนวทางเดียวกันในการผลักดันความร่วมมือผ่านการทำ MOU ในระดับมหาวิทยาลัย รวมถึงความร่วมมือระดับคณะ โดยผู้แทนแต่ละคณะให้ความสนใจในความร่วมมือด้านการแลกเปลี่ยน (อาจารย์และนักศึกษา) การทำวิจัยร่วมกัน รวมถึงการฝึกงานที่ KU Leuven ประเทศเบลเยียม และบริษัทในประเทศไทย
