Update: Thammasat University has discussed an academic collaboration with Cambodian Ambassador and Advisor to the Minister of MHESI

Cambodian Ambassador and Advisor to the Minister of MHESI visit Thammasat University Rangsit Campus

     H.E. Mr. Sorphorn Ouk, Cambodian Ambassador to Thailand and Dr. Patcharinruja Juntaronanont, Advisor to the Thai Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) led a delegation to visit the Thamamsat University Rangsit Campus on 16 September 2022. They were greeted by the Vice Rector of Administration (Tha Prachan) and International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surat Teerakapibal along with the Assistant to the Rector for International Affairs, Dr. Siripatra Patchanee and staff from the Office of International Affairs.

     The Thammasat hosts delivered a presentation which featured information about Thammasat’s international policy, the number of international students, as well as highlighting current and past activities and achievements, such as the Teaching Thai as a Foreign Language Course, Online IELTS/TOEFL Tutorial Courses for Prospective Students, Admissions Exams in the Thammasat International Student Recruitment program (TISR), Dual Degree Programs with Partner Universities, and Scholarships for Students from Developing Nations. Afterwards, the visiting delegates were able to inquire of international students about their new living environment and facilities during their studies at Thammasat.

     The delegation wrapped up its tour with a visit to relevant places around Thamamsat Rangsit, such as on-campus dormitories, the Thammasat Hospital and Puey Ungphakorn Centenary Hall and Park.

     มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ นำโดย รศ.ดร.สุรัตน์ ทีรฆาภิบาล รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหารท่าพระจันทร์และวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมด้วย อาจารย์ ทพญ.สิริภัทรา พัชนี ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ และเจ้าหน้าที่กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ให้การต้อนรับ ดร.พัชรินรุจา จันทโรนานนท์ ที่ปรึกษารัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม และ H.E. Sorphorn Ouk เอกอัครราชทูตกัมพูชาประจำประเทศไทย ในการเยือนมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ศูนย์รังสิต เมื่อวันที่ 16 กันยายน 2565 ที่ผ่านมา

     โดย รศ.ดร.สุรัตน์ ทีรฆาภิบาล รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหารท่าพระจันทร์และวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ได้นำเสนอข้อมูลด้านนโยบาย การบริหารจัดการ ด้านความเป็นนานาชาติและด้านการดูแลนักศึกษาต่างชาติ รวมถึงผลงาน กิจกรรมที่ได้ดำเนินการไปแล้ว และผู้แทนจาก อว. ได้สอบถามพร้อมฟังปัญหา อุปสรรค ข้อคิดเห็นและข้อเสนอแนะต่าง ๆ ของนักศึกษาต่างชาติที่กำลังศึกษาในมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์

     นอกจากนี้ คณะอาคันตุกะ ได้เยี่ยมชมมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ศูนย์รังสิต เช่น หอพักนักศึกษา โรงพยาบาลธรรมศาสตร์ฯ และอุทยานการเรียนรู้ป๋วย 100 ปี

Thammasat participates in IACSC General Assembly

     Thammasat University took part in the virtual General Assembly of the International Academic Consortium for Sustainable Cities (IACSC) on 16 September 2022, led by the Vice Rector for Administration (Tha Prachan) and International Affairs. The meeting was hosted by the Yokohama City University in Japan where the Secretariat of the IACSC is located. 

     The IACSC is an initiative of the Yokohama City University comprising distinguished universities from the ASEAN region to foster and promote research and collaborative activities among academic and research institutions.  Its aim is also to strengthen relationships among universities and cities to contribute to a sustainable society, particularly through three main units of the organization: environment, urban planning, and public health.

     During the virtual meeting, Thammasat University was pleased to announce that it would be the host for the IACSC General Assembly & Symposium in 2023.

มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ เข้าร่วมประชุมออนไลน์ IACSC General Assembly

     รศ.ดร.สุรัตน์ ทีรฆาภิบาล รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหารท่าพระจันทร์และวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ได้เข้าร่วมประชุม General Assembly ของเครือข่ายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ The International Academic Consortium for Sustainable Cities (IACSC) ซึ่งมีมหาวิทยาลัย Yokohama City University ( YCU) เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยหลักของเครือข่ายนี้ เมื่อวันที่ 12 กันยายน 2565 ที่ผ่านมา

     IACSC เป็นเครือข่ายที่ประกอบด้วย YCU และมหาวิทยาลัยที่โดดเด่นของประเทศต่าง ๆ ในภูมิภาคอาเซียน มีพันธกิจมุ่งเน้นการสร้างความร่วมมือด้านการสร้างสังคมแบบยั่งยืน โดยเฉพาะใน 3 หัวข้อ คือ ด้าน สิ่งแวดล้อม การวางผังเมืองและด้านสาธารณสุข

     ทั้งนี้ ในที่ประชุมรองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหารท่าพระจันทร์และวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ได้ตอบรับและจะเป็นการเจ้าภาพการประชุม General Assembly และ Symposium ของเครือข่าย IACSC ในปี 2566

Office of International Affairs visits Thammasat University Lampang Campus to publicize exchange programs. 

     To publicize Thammasat University exchange programs available to students at the Lampang Campus, the Office of International Affairs (Tha Prachan) visited the northern campus on 29 August 2022 and gave presentations on “How to Study Abroad”

     Leading off the event was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surat Teerakapibal, the Vice Rector for Administration (Tha Prachan) and International Affairs, who offered opening remarks. He was followed by Dr. Siripatra Patchanee, Assistant to the Rector for International Affairs, providing detailed information about exchange programs and opportunities to study at partner universities overseas. She also gave information about free online English courses. 

     The Director and Regional Coordinators from OIA-Tha Prachan featured guidance about application procedures, required official documents and travel information to partner universities in Asia, the Americas and Europe, as well as fielding questions during a Q & A session.

     Greeting the OIA-Tha Prachan team and hosting the event were Dr. Nattagorn Choochouy, the Assistant Rector for Administration and Academic Affairs and Asst. Prof. Pimchat Rossutham, Assistant Rector for Student Affairs and Corporate Communications at the Lampang campus. The OIA team wrapped up its visit with a tour of the Boonchoo Treethong Library, dormitory, and campus facilities and environment.

กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ประชาสัมพันธ์โครงการแลกเปลี่ยน ณ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ศูนย์ลำปาง

     อาจารย์ ดร.ณัฐกรณ์ ชูช่วย ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหารและวิชาการ ศูนย์ลำปาง และ ผศ.พิมพ์ฉัตร รสสุธรรม ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายกิจการนักศึกษาและสื่อสารองค์กร ศูนย์ลำปาง ให้การต้อนรับ รศ.ดร.สุรัตน์ ทีรฆาภิบาล รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหารท่าพระจันทร์และวิเทศสัมพันธ์ และ อาจารย์ ทพญ.สิริภัทรา พัชนี ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมด้วยผู้อำนวยการและเจ้าหน้าที่จากกองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ในการเยือน มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ศูนย์ลำปาง ในวันที่ 29 สิงหาคม 2565 ณ ห้อง TU Craft Space อาคารนวัตกรรมบริการ เพื่อร่วมจัดกิจกรรม “How to study abroad” สร้างโอกาสทางการศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยนระหว่างประเทศ

     รศ.ดร.สุรัตน์ ทีรฆาภิบาล รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหารท่าพระจันทร์และวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมด้วย อาจารย์ ทพญ.สิริภัทรา พัชนี ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ บรรยายให้ข้อมูลโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนกับมหาวิทยาลัยคู่สัญญาที่มีอยู่ในทุกภูมิภาคทั่วโลก เพื่อสร้างความรู้ความเข้าใจ แนะนำข้อดี โอกาส ประสบการณ์ที่จะได้รับจากการไปแลกเปลี่ยนการเรียนระหว่างประเทศ รวมถึงแนะนำหลักสูตรการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษแบบออนไลน์ สำหรับนักศึกษาโดยไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่าย ภายในงานยังมีการแบ่งกลุ่มทำกิจกรรมตามภูมิภาค ได้แก่ ภูมิภาคเอเชีย ยุโรป และอเมริกา เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้สอบถามตามสาขาหรือประเทศที่สนใจ เพื่อสามารถเตรียมความพร้อมในการวางแผนการเรียนหรือการเป็นนักศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยนในอนาคตอีกด้วย

     นอกจากนี้ ฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ได้ร่วมกิจกรรม Campus Tour เข้าเยี่ยมชมห้องสมุดบุญชู ตรีทอง หอพักนักศึกษา และสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกต่าง ๆ ภายในมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ศูนย์ลำปาง เพื่อเตรียมการรับนักศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยนระหว่างประเทศในอนาคตอีกด้วย
