High Level Delegation from the Royal Palace in Bhutan visits Thammasat

     Dr. Dasho Sonam Kinga, Special Envoy of His Majesty the King of Bhutan, headed a high delegation to visit the Thammasat Rangsit campus on 24 March 2022 and were greeted by the Vice Rector for Research and Innovation, the Assistant Rector for International Affairs, and the Dean and executives from the Puey Ungphakorn School of Development Studies.

     The Thammasat hosts delivered presentations which featured information on the “Center of Excellence – CoE” by the Vice Rector for Research and Innovation, the “88 SANDBOX: The Next Unicorn Platform” by the Assistant Rector for International Affairs, and “Community Development and Skill Training Projects” by the Dean of the Puey Ungphakorn School of Development Studies.

     The delegation wrapped up its tour with a visit to the Center of Excellence in Creative Engineering Design and Development (CED) at the Faculty of Engineering whose purpose is to develop innovations in the field of engineering to support patients, the elderly and disabled people in the healthcare system as well as for commercial purposes.

     มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ นำโดย ศ.ดร.ทพญ.ศิริวรรณ สืบนุการณ์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม  อาจารย์ ทพญ.สิริภัทรา พัชนี ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมด้วย คณบดีและคณาจารย์จากวิทยาลัยพัฒนศาสตร์ป๋วย อึ๊งภากรณ์ ให้การต้อนรับ Dr. Dasho Sonam Kinga, Special Envoy of His Majesty the King of Bhutan และคณะ ในการเยือนมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ศูนย์รังสิต ในวันที่ 24 มีนาคม 2565

     มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ได้นำเสนอข้อมูลศูนย์แห่งความเป็นเลิศทางวิชาการ (Center of Excellence – CoE) โดยรองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม และ “88 SANDBOX: The Next Unicorn Platform” ศูนย์กลางการเรียนรู้ทักษะผู้ประกอบการแห่งอนาคต ซึ่งเป็น STARTUP ECOSYSTEM ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในประเทศไทย โดยผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ รวมถึงการแนะนำ Community Development and Skill Training Projects โดยคณบดีวิทยาลัยพัฒนศาสตร์ป๋วย อึ๊งภากรณ์ 

     นอกจากนี้ คณะอาคันตุกะได้เยี่ยมชมศูนย์แห่งความเป็นทางวิชาการด้านการออกแบบและพัฒนาต้นแบบทางวิศวกรรมอย่างสร้างสรรค์ (Center of Excellence in Creative Engineering Design and Development) ณ คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ ซึ่งเป็นศูนย์ที่มุ่งเน้นการสร้างนวัตกรรมเพื่อแก้ปัญหาหลักของประเทศผ่านการออกแบบและพัฒนาต้นแบบทางวิศวกรรมอย่างสร้างสรรค์ เพื่อพัฒนานวัตกรรมให้สามารถนำไปสู่การใช้งานจริงทางด้านสุขภาพ สำหรับผู้ป่วย คนพิการและผู้สูงอายุ และเพิ่มช่องทางเพื่อนำผลงานนวัตกรรมไปสู่เชิงพาณิชย์เพื่อนำรายได้กลับมาเป็นทุนวิจัยทำให้เกิดวงจรงานวิจัยที่ยั่งยืน
