Update: Thammasat and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid focused on the desirability of expanding academic collaboration to create new and diverse bilateral programs.

Spain’s UAM visits Thammasat to explore expanded link-ups

     The Head and staff of the International Relations and Mobility Service from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) in Spain paid a visit to Thammasat-Tha Prachan on 24 July 2023. They were welcomed by the Vice Rector for Administration (Tha Prachan) and International Affairs and OIA officers.

     Thammasat and UAM currently collaborate in student exchanges with the Alianza 4 Universidades (A4U), a consortium of four leading Spanish public universities – the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M) and Pompeu Fabra University (UPF). A4U is funded by the Erasmus+ Program, forging a strategic partnership between Thailand and Spain.

     The visit focused on the desirability of expanding academic collaboration, particularly between the two universities in order to create new and diverse bilateral programs.

     รศ.ดร.สุรัตน์ ทีรฆาภิบาล รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหารท่าพระจันทร์และวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมเจ้าหน้าที่วิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ให้การต้อนรับผู้แทนจาก Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) ราชอาณาจักรสเปน ในการเยือนมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์ ในวันที่ 24 กรกฎาคม 2566

     Universidad Autónoma de Madrid และมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ มีความร่วมมือการแลกเปลี่ยนทางวิชาการภายใต้เครือข่าย A4U University Alliance ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วย มหาวิทยาลัยที่มีอันดับสูงสุด 4 แห่งในประเทศสเปน ได้แก่ the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M) and Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) ภายใต้โครงการ Erasmus+ ระหว่างประเทศไทยและราชอาณาจักรสเปน

     วัตถุประสงค์การเยือนครั้งนี้ UAM เสนอทำความร่วมมือในรูปแบบ Bilateral Agreement เพื่อเพิ่มโอกาสการสร้างความร่วมมือทางวิชาการร่วมกันมากขึ้น
