Farewell Party for Inter-students.

     The Office of International Affairs organized a Farewell Party on 28 April 2023 for International Students of the 2022 academic year at the Riverside Room of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammasat University, Tha Prachan Campus. More than 80 exchange students from partner universities in Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia joined the party under the theme “Summer Vibe”.

     Welcomed to the party by the Assistant Rector for International Affairs, the inter-students were entertained with quizzes about Thammasat with winners receiving unique Thammasat memorabilia as gifts. The party encouraged international exchange students to share what they have learned through real-life experiences at Thammasat and their impressions of being part of the student body. 

     Afterwards, all participants enjoyed a riverside buffet dinner featuring an array of Thai cuisine from a famous restaurant in Bangkok. All the exclusive dishes were specially selected by the OIA in order to remind the inter-students of the real taste of “Thainess” and to recall their experiences at Thammasat when having Thai food in the future. TU Folksongs provided musical background to round out a fond farewell to students returning home.

เลี้ยงอำลาสำหรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติ

     กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ จัดงานเลี้ยงอำลาสำหรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติ ประจำปีการศึกษา 2565 เมื่อวันที่ 28 เมษายน 2566 ณ ห้องริมน้ำ คณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์ ภายใต้ธีม “Summer Vibe” เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาต่างชาติและนักศึกษาไทยได้แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์นอกห้องเรียน และแบ่งปันความสุขของการเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์

     โดยมีกิจกรรมเล่นเกมตอบคำถาม พร้อมรับรางวัลพิเศษ นอกจากนักศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยนจากมหาวิทยาลัยคู่สัญญาจากทวีปยุโรป อเมริกา แอฟริกา และเอเชียแล้ว ยังมีนักศึกษาต่างชาติที่ศึกษา ณ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ แบบเต็มเวลา เข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงด้วย

     หลังจบกิจกรรม ทุกคนได้ร่วมรับประทานอาหารเย็นภายใต้บรรยากาศที่เป็นกันเอง ริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา พร้อมเพลงประกอบดนตรี จากชมรม TU Folk Song ทั้งนี้ กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ได้เลือกสรรอาหารไทยที่มีชื่อเสียงและมีรสชาติโดดเด่น จากร้านอาหารชื่อดังในกรุงเทพฯ เพื่อให้ผู้เข้าร่วมงานชาวต่างชาติได้ลิ้มรสอาหารที่มีรสชาติเป็นเอกลักษณ์ไทย เพื่อสร้างความประทับใจให้หวนรำลึกถึงธรรมศาสตร์และประเทศไทย

Thai Flower Garland workshop -- Learning the distinct folkloric symbols of Thailand.

     The Office of International Affairs organized a Thai Flower Garland workshop on 10 April 2023 at the OIA inter-lounge at Thammasat University, Tha Prachan Campus. Both Thai and International students and staff made up the more than 30 people who joined the workshop to learn how to make simple flower garlands or “Phuang Malai” (local name). Even the Vice Rector for Administration (Tha Prachan) and International Affairs and the Assistant the Rector for International Affairs jointly made a Phuang Malai.

     Participants also learned that Phuang Malai are created not only for decorative purposes during auspicious ceremonies, but are prominent in season’s greetings as well. The event was led by instructors from the Pridi Banomyong International College who also demonstrated the fine art of Phuang Malai arrangement. At the end of the event, Thammasat memorabilia were awarded as gifts to those who fashioned the most beautiful garland.

กิจกรรมร้อยมาลัยดอกไม้ เรียนรู้วิถีศิลปวัฒนธรรมไทย

     กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ได้รับเกียรติจากวิทยากรผู้ที่มากด้วยประสบการณ์จากวิทยาลัยนานาชาติปรีดี พนมยงค์ โดยถ่ายทอดเทคนิคและสอนฝึกปฏิบัติการร้อยมาลัยในแบบที่ทุกคนสามารถทำเองได้ เพื่อนำไปจัดประดับตกแต่งในงานมงคล หรือมอบเป็นของขวัญในวาระต่าง ๆ กิจกรรมจัดขึ้น ณ กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์ เมื่อวันที่ 10 เมษายน 2566 ทั้งนี้ รศ.ดร.สุรัตน์ ทีรฆาภิบาล รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหารท่าพระจันทร์และวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมด้วย อาจารย์ ทพญ.สิริภัทรา พัชนี ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ และนักศึกษา เจ้าหน้าที่ชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติ มากกว่า 30 คนเข้าร่วมฝึกปฏิบัติด้วย โดยนักศึกษาที่ร้อยพวงมาลัยได้สวยงาม 3 อันดับแรก ได้รับรางวัลของที่ระลึกด้วย
