Thammasat and Shandong renew collaboration

     13 March 2023 - Shandong University, led by Prof. Han Shenghao, Vice President for International Affairs, along with executives of the International Affairs Department, visited Thammasat University, Tha Prachan Campus to discuss the renewal of academic collaboration between both institutions. They were welcomed to Thammasat by the Assistant to the Rector for International Affairs and executives from the Chinese Studies Programs of Pridi Banomyong International College.

     Discussions were fruitful in exploring new ways of cooperation in the key area of Medical Sciences, including medical student and staff exchanges as well as internship programs at university hospitals located on both campuses.

     During the meeting, Assistant to the Rector for International Affairs of Thammasat highlighted Thammasat’s Summer Program 2023, scheduled to begin classes in June 2023. Also suggested was the Thammasat short-term study program which can be tailor-made for the needs and interests of Shandong University students.

     Shandong University นำโดย Prof. Han Shenghao, Vice President for International Affairs พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหาร เยือนมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์ เพื่อหารือการต่ออายุสัญญาความร่วมมือระหว่างสองสถาบัน ในการนี้ อาจารย์ ทพญ.สิริภัทรา พัชนี ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหารจากวิทยาลัยนานาชาติปรีดี พนมยงค์ ให้การต้อนรับและร่วมหารือ เมื่อวันที่ 13 มีนาคม 2566

     ทั้งนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือการขยายความร่วมมือโดยเฉพาะด้านการแพทย์ เนื่องด้วยสองสถาบันมีโรงพยาบาลที่เป็นศูนย์บริการทางการแพทย์แบบครบวงจร รวมทั้งการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาด้านการแพทย์ และบุคลากร และการฝึกงานในสายงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง

     โดย อาจารย์ ทพญ.สิริภัทรา พัชนี ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ได้ประชาสัมพันธ์โครงการ Thammasat Summer School 2023 ที่อยู่ระหว่างการเปิดรับสมัครนักศึกษา รวมถึงการให้ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับ Short Program ในรูปแบบ tailor-made short program โดยสามารถปรับแต่งรายละเอียดของโปรแกรม เช่น รายวิชา และช่วงเวลาเรียน ได้ตามความเหมาะสมสำหรับนักศึกษาจาก Shandong University

Thammasat and University of Colima discuss update of exchange program.

     9 March 2023 - President Dr. Christian Jorge Torres Ortiz Zermeño and executives from the Universidad de Colima in Mexico were warmly welcomed to Thammasat-Tha Prachan by the Director of OIA, Ms. Surussawadee Artnonla, along with the OIA Regional Coordinator for the Americas.

     Discussion focused on updating the exchange program between both universities after the Covid-19 pandemic. Also explored were ways forward to cooperate in new academic activities, such as joint research and seminars.

     The two sides exchanged views on how to further strengthen academic relations and collaboration between both institutions under the current MOU. Thammasat representatives promoted the Thammasat Summer School Program which offers Colima students a chance to learn about Thai history and culture through activities and gain an understanding of the business and economic situation in the Thai social context.

     การเยือนในครั้งนี้ เพื่อหารือสถานการณ์การแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาระหว่างสองสถาบัน และแนวทางการพัฒนาความร่วมมือในรูปแบบอื่น ๆ ในอนาคต นอกเหนือจากโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษา ไม่ว่าจะเป็นกิจกรรมด้านวิชาการ การทำงานวิจัย หรือสัมมนาทางวิชาการร่วมกัน ทั้งสองฝ่ายแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็น แนวทางการเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งความสัมพันธ์ทางวิชาการและความร่วมมือ

     นอกจากนี้ ฝ่ายธรรมศาสตร์ ได้ประชาสัมพันธ์โครงการ Thammasat Summer School 2023 ซึ่งเป็นโอกาสอันดีที่นักศึกษาจาก Colima จะได้เรียนรู้และรู้จักประเทศไทยมากยิ่งขึ้น ไม่ว่าจะเป็นศิลปวัฒนธรรม ประวัติศาสตร์ รวมถึงเข้าใจสถานการณ์ด้านเศรษฐกิจในบริบทสังคมไทย

Moroccan Embassy in Thailand visits Thammasat to explore ties.

     23 February 2023 - H.E. Ambassador Mr. Abderrahim Rahhaly and staff from the Embassy of Morocco in Bangkok visited Thammasat University, Tha Prachan Campus to discuss the possibility of enhancing academic collaboration and scholarship opportunities between Thammasat and universities in Morocco. He was graciously welcomed by Thammasat Rector Gasinee Witoonchart along with the Assistant Rector for International Affairs, Lecturer Siripatra Patchanee, D.D.S. and the OIA Regional Coordinator for Americas.

     The Moroccan delegation offered to provide an introductory information session for Thammasat students so that they have the chance to gain more insights into the economy, culture, and society of Morocco. The session would be conducted by speakers from Morocco. Moreover, Thammasat is welcome to propose further topics of interest which would be suitable for the needs of Thammasat students as well.

     For Thammasat, the Rector highlighted the "Thammasat International Students Recruitment Program 2023" (TISR 2023) with scholarship opportunities, and the Assistant Rector for International Affairs provided more information about Thammasat scholarships for inter-students, such as tuition waiver, monthly allowance and more. Also discussed was the possibility of exchange programs of one semester or one year duration and that course offerings at Thammasat would be convenient for credit transfer.

สถานทูตโมร็อกโกประจำประเทศไทย เยือนธรรมศาสตร์ หารือความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ

     รศ.เกศินี วิฑูรชาติ อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ พร้อมด้วย อาจารย์ ทพญ.สิรภัทรา พัชนี ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ และผู้ประสานงานภูมิภาคอเมริกา กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ให้การต้อนรับ H.E. Mr. Abderrahim Rahhaly เอกอัครราชทูตโมร็อกโกประจำประเทศไทย และคณะ เพื่อหารือการทำความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างธรรมศาสตร์ และมหาวิทยาลัยในโมร็อกโก และการสนับสนุนทุนการศึกษาแก่นักศึกษา เมื่อวันที่ 23 กุมภาพันธ์ 2566 ณ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์

     สถานทูตโมร็อกโก เสนอการจัด Information Session เกี่ยวกับประเทศโมร็อกโก และมหาวิทยาลัยในโมร็อกโกให้กับนักศึกษาธรรมศาสตร์ เพื่อให้นักศึกษาได้รู้จักโมร็อกโกในแง่มุมต่าง ๆ ไม่ว่าสังคม วัฒนธรรม รวมถึงเศรษฐกิจ และเพื่อเป็นข้อมูลเบื้องต้นสำหรับนักศึกที่สนใจศึกษาต่อ โดยสถานทูตฯ จะสนับสนุนผู้บรรยายที่เชี่ยวชาญในประเด็นต่าง ๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง ทั้งนี้ ธรรมศาสตร์ สามารถเสนอหัวข้อการบรรยายอื่น ๆ ที่สนใจนำเสนอไปยังสถานทูตฯ ได้

     ฝ่ายธรรมศาสตร์ โดย รศ.เกศินี วิฑูรชาติ ได้แนะนำโครงการ Thammasat International Students Recruitment 2023 (9TISR 2023) ที่กำลังเปิดรับสมัครในรอบที่ 2 และอาจารย์ ทพญ.สิรภัทรา พัชนี ได้ให้ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมด้านทุนการศึกษาของธรรมศาสตร์สำหรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติ ในรูปแบบการยกเว้นค่าธรรมเนียม หรือค่าใช้จ่ายรายเดือน เป็นต้น นอกจากนี้ ธรรมศาสตร์ มีโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาสำหรับมหาวิทยาลัยคู่สัญญา ระยะเวลา 1 ภาคการศึกษาหรือ 1 ปีการศึกษา และสามารถเทียบโอนหน่วยกิตได้ ซึ่งเป็นอีกทางเลือกสำหรับนักศึกษาโมร็อกโก

Ambassador of Timor-Leste calls on Thammasat Rector to explore collaboration

     8 February 2023 - H.E. Mr. Juvêncio de Jesus Martins, Ambassador of Timor-Leste to Thailand, paid a visit to Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus. He was warmly greeted by Thammasat Rector, Assoc. Prof. Gasinee Witoonchart, together with the Assistant Rector for International Affairs, Lecturer Siripatra Patchanee, and the OIA Regional Coordinator for Asia.

     After the Rector congratulated the ambassador on his assumption of duty and the government of Timor-Leste for becoming the 11th member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations to be officially announced soon, both sides explored the possibility of collaboration and joint academic activities including international seminars.

     Rector Gasinee Witoonchart pointed out current International programs and the Assistant Rector for International Affairs provided more information about the Thammasat International Student Recruitment 2023 program (TISR 2023) as an option for Timorese students to study at Thammasat, offering full-time courses taught in both Thai and English.

หารือความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่าง ธรรมศาสตร์ และสถานทูตติมอร์-เลสเตในประเทศไทย

Mr. Juvêncio de Jesus Martins เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยติมอร์-เลสเต ประจำประเทศไทย ในการเยือนธรรมศาสตร์ ศูนย์รังสิต เมื่อวันที่ 8 กุมภาพันธ์ 2566 เพื่อหารือการทำความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ

     หลังจากที่ รศ.เกศินี วิฑูรชาติ กล่าวแสดงความยินดีกับท่านทูตสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยติมอร์-เลสเต ในวาระเข้ารับตำแหน่งใหม่ และการที่ประเทศติมอร์-เลสเต ได้รับการอนุมัติเป็นสมาชิกสมาคมประชาชาติแห่งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ (ASEAN - Association of Southeast Asian Nations) โดยจะมีการประกาศอย่างเป็นทางการในลำดับต่อไป โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายได้หารือโอกาสในการสร้างความร่วมมือทางวิชาการกับมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ และการจัดกิจกรรมทางวิชาการร่วมกัน เช่น การจัดสัมมนาวิชาการ
