Update: Thammasat University has discussed an academic collaboration with Kyushu University, Fudan University and HSE Russia.

Thammasat and Kyushu explore cooperation in Medical Sciences.

     A delegation from Kyushu University in Japan, led by Dr. Shuji Shimizu, Vice President for International Affairs, paid a visit to Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus on 15 March 2023. Welcoming them to Thammasat were the Vice Rector for Administration (Tha Prachan) and International Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surat Teerakapibal and OIA staff. The visit focused on extending collaboration in the field of Medical Science at the faculty level.

     Dr. Surat presented information about Thammasat Hospital and the convenient facilities at the dormitories for both international full-time and exchange students while studying at Thammasat. The Thammasat-Pattaya campus was also highlighted as it is one of the leading developments in the EEC with its Medical Center and strong Engineering program.

     Thammasat sought support from Kyushu University to disseminate information about the Thammasat Summer Program 2023 for those Kyushu students who may be interested in Thai culture and the business and economic situation in Thailand, as well as the Thammasat short program which can be tailor-made for the needs and interests of Kyushu University students.

     The delegation wrapped up its tour with a visit to relevant places around Thamamsat University, Rangsit Campus, including on-campus dormitories, the Thammasat Hospital, Puey Ungphakorn Centenary Hall and Park, and the Sport Center.

มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ และ Kyushu University หารือการขยายความร่วมมือด้านวิทยาศาสตร์การแพทย์

     เมื่อวันที่ 15 มีนาคม 2566 รศ.ดร.สุรัตน์ ทีรฆาภิบาล รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายบริหารท่าพระจันทร์และวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ต้อนรับ Dr. Shuji Shimizu รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ และผู้แทนจาก Kyushu University ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ในการเยือนมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ เพื่อหารือการขยายความร่วมมือในระดับคณะ โดยเฉพาะด้านการแพทย์และวิทยาศาสตร์การแทพย์

     ธรรมศาสตร์ โดย รศ.ดร.สุรัตน์ ทีรฆาภิบาล แนะนำข้อมูลเบื้องต้นเกี่ยวกับโรงพยาบาลธรรมศาสตร์ฯ  และหอพักนักศึกษา ซึ่งสะดวกสำหรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติที่เข้ามาเรียนธรรมศาสตร์ทั้งในรูปแบบเต็มเวลาหรือโครงการแลกเปลี่ยน พร้อมให้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ศูนย์พัทยา โดยเฉพาะหลักสูตรด้านวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ ทั้งนี้ ยังจะเป็นหนึ่งในผู้นำการพัฒนาด้านการแพทย์ในเขตเศรษฐกิจภาคตะวันออก

      นอกจากนี้ ธรรมศาสตร์ ได้ประชาสัมพันธ์ Thammasat Summer Program เพื่อเชิญชวนนักศึกษาจาก Kyushu University ที่สนใจเรียนรู้ศึกษาวัฒนธรรมไทยร่วมกับเข้าใจถึงสถานการณ์เศรษฐกิจของประเทศไทย และนำเสนอข้อมูลโครงการระยะสั้น (short program) โดยสามารถปรับแต่งรายละเอียดของโปรแกรม เช่น รายวิชา และช่วงเวลาเรียนได้ตามความเหมาะสมสำหรับนักศึกษาจาก Kyushu University ได้

     Kyushu University ได้เยี่ยมชมสถานที่ที่น่าสนใจของมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ศูนย์รังสิต เช่น หอพักนักศึกษา โรงพยาบาลธรรมศาสตร์ฯ อุทยานเรียนรู้ป๋วย 100 ปี และศูนย์กีฬา เป็นต้น

Thammasat and Fudan Universities discuss update of exchange program.

     On 16 March 2023, the Assistant Rector for International Affairs, Lecturer Siripatra Patchanee, D.D.S., welcomed Dr. Zhuanghui, Deputy Director, Office of Global Partnership and executives from Fudan University in China, to Thammasat-Tha Prachan during their participation in APAIE Bangkok 2023 between 14 and 16 March.

     Both universities provided updates of the exchange program between Fudan and Thammasat under the current agreement which Fudan plans to resume in 2024. Also discussed were ways to expand cooperation via summer programs, joint research, and dual/double degree programs.

Thammasat expressed interest in Visiting Professor programs for Thammasat instructors at Fudan, especially in the availability of scholarships and opportunities to teach and conduct research at Fudan.

     ทั้งสองฝ่ายแลกเปลี่ยนความคืบหน้าด้านสถานการณ์การแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาของทั้งสองสถาบันภายใต้กรอบความร่วมมือปัจจุบัน พร้อมหารือการขยายความร่วมมือในอนาคตรูปแบบอื่น ๆ โดยเฉพาะด้านการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษา โครงการระยะสั้น (Summer Program) งานวิจัย และหลักสูตรควบสองปริญญา

     ธรรมศาสตร์ สอบถามข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับทุน Visiting Professor เพื่ออาจารย์จากธรรมศาสตร์มีโอกาสขอรับทุนเพื่อไปสอนและทำงานวิจัยที่ Fudan University นอกจากนี้ Fudan University ได้ประชาสัมพันธ์และเชิญชวนนักศึกษาธรรมศาตร์ พร้อมเยี่ยมชมเมืองเพื่อศึกษาเรียนรู้ศิลปวัฒนธรรม โดยได้รับการยกเว้นค่าธรรมเนียมในฐานะนักศึกษาจากมหาวิทยาลัยคู่สัญญา

Thammasat and HSE University discuss extending collaboration in student exchange.

     A delegation from HSE University in Russia -- representing three campuses in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Nizhny Novgorod -- paid a visit to Thammasat University, Tha Prachan Campus on 16 March 2023. They were greeted by the Assistant Rector for International Affairs, Lecturer Siripatra Patchanee, D.D.S..

     Discussions centered on extending the possibility of Thammasat students to study at campuses in addition to HSE-St. Petersburg, currently the only campus eligible for Thammasat students on an exchange program under the current agreement. Also considered was the potential for collaboration at the faculty level, particularly in the fields of Business, Social Sciences, Humanities, and Media and Communication.

     During the meeting, HSE sought support from Thammasat to organize a virtual Information session about dormitories, transportation, VISA, and course offerings for HSE students who will be exchange students at Thammasat at least three to six months prior to their arrival. For its part, Thammasat highlighted the Thammasat Summer School 2023 program as another offering for HSE students to learn more about Thammasat, Thai society and culture through activities to enrich their understanding of the business and economic situation in Thailand.

     Afterwards, the delegation wrapped up their tour with a visit to notable places around Thammasat University, Tha Prachan Campus, such as the Thammasat Library, Pridi Plaza, and the TU-Book Store to familiarize them with the Thammasat-Tha Prachan international campus, situated in the richly historical setting of Rattanakosin Island. The tour was conducted by a guide from the Thammasat International Students Club.

HSE Russia และธรรมศาสตร์ หารือเพื่อขยายความร่วมมือด้านการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษา

     อาจารย์ ทพญ.สิริภัทรา พัชนี ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ให้การต้อนรับผู้แทนจาก HSE University ประเทศรัสเซีย ในการเยือนมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์ เมื่อวันที่ 16 มีนาคม 2566 โดยผู้แทนจาก HSE มาจากหลากหลายวิทยาเขต ได้แก่ Moscow, Saint Petersburg และ Nizhny Novgorod 

     ทั้งสองฝ่ายหารือการขยายความร่วมมือจากสัญญาเดิมด้านการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษา เพื่อให้นักศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยนจากธรรมศาสตร์สามารถเลือกไปยังวิทยาเขตอื่น ๆ ของ HSE University ได้ เนื่องจากปัจจุบันเลือกได้เพียงวิทยาเขต Saint Petersburg เท่านั้น นอกจากนี้ HSE University ยังมีความสนใจทำความร่วมมือในระดับคณะ โดยเฉพาะด้านบริหารธุรกิจ สังคมศาสตร์และมนุษยศาสตร์ รวมถึงด้านสื่อสารมวลชน

     ฝ่าย HSE เสนอการจัด Information Session เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกด้านข้อมูล หอพัก การเดินทาง วีซ่า การหาวิชาเรียน เป็นต้น โดยจัดงานช่วงระยะเวลา 3 ถึง 6 เดือนล่วงหน้าก่อนส่งนักศึกษาที่สนใจมาแลกเปลี่ยนที่ธรรมศาสตร์

     ฝ่ายธรรมศาสตร์ นำเสนอข้อมูล Thammasat Summer School 2023 เพื่อเป็นทางเลือกสำหรับนักศึกษา HSE ในการมาเรียนหลักสูตรระยะสั้น นอกจากความรู้ทางวิชาการแล้วยังได้เรียนรู้ศิลปวัฒนธรรมและสถานที่ทางประวัติศาสตร์ที่น่าสนใจของประเทศไทย

     พร้อมทั้งเยี่ยมชมมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์ เช่น ห้องสมุดใต้ดินแห่งแรกของไทย ลานปรีดี รวมถึงศูนย์หนังสือ เพื่อให้อาคันตุกะได้เห็นมุมความเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยนานาชาติที่ล้อมรอบด้วยชุมชนที่มีชีวิตชีวา ให้การบรรยายโดยผู้แทนจาก Thammasat International Students Club
